Kyo's P.O.V
I was standing in front of all my friends
Some were smiling, and others were tearing up
Those ones were obviously Amu, Asuza, and Yaya ('cept she was bawling)
"DON'T GO KYO-CHAN!!!!" Yaya yelled and hugged me tightly
This earned us a few stares from passerby's
I smirked "Don't worry Yaya. I'll make sure to visit and you can always reach me"
She sniffled and I hugged her back before moving on to each of the others
Hugged Amu, Rima, Asuza and Fist-bumped Nagi, Jasper and Kukai
Tadase was a little more awkward...he just shook my hand politely
Never did really understand that kid. He was too damned polite...specially for a guy
The older Souma's were there too, but they kinda just hung back and watched
"First call for those boarding flight 356 to New York"
That's right...I'm from New York. Got a problem with that?
I sighed but then smirked "Catch ya later guys"
I picked up my stuff and turned around to leave
Before I could take a step though, I was glomped...by EVERYONE!!!
"You guys are gonna be the end of me with these hugs" i said with a laugh before getting kukai in a playful headlock
They all smiled and joined in with the laughing before the lady came on the speakers again
"Last call for flight 356. Last call"
I shook my fist at the speaker
"Stupid imaginary voice ruining the moment!!!"
Everyone laughed at me and I just shrugged "What? It's true"
They all detached themselves from me and I once again picked up my suitcases
"Well...Seeya guys" I started towards the loading platform and gave them my suitcases
I was almost through the gates when I head Kaidou's voice ring out
"Yo shrimp!" I turn to him and he grins "Take care of yourself"
"Awww...I didn't think you cared Kaidou" I joked
He smiles and I wave to all of them for the last time before boarding the plane
When I get on, I see all the other students from my school who came on this trip
We were all spread out at different schools in the area, so never once did i see any of them all the time we were here
I took an empty seat by the aisle and waited for lift off
The plane starts rolling forward and just before it takes off, my phone buzzes
It turned out to be a text from Kukai
"Good luck back in America. We'll all miss you here"
I smile and respond
"Thanks. I'll miss you all too"
I hit send am an then told to turn off all electronics
LET THE HOURS OF BOREDOM BEGIN!!!
*Hours Later*
I was passed out practically the whole plane ride, so it wasn't as bad as it could be
Problem now, is I'm too stiff to move and the plane just pulled into the terminal in New York
"Welcome to New York. You are now free to exit the plane"
I'm seriously sick of mysterious voices on intercoms -_-
Oh well...not everything can work how I want it to
Everyone started filing out into the aisle to get off the plane
I just stood up and stretched, waiting for everyone else to leave
Once they were off, I followed behind and wandered into the airport to find my luggage
I got them from the conveyor belt, and was knocked to the ground the the second I turned around
"You're back Kyo!!!"
I looked and to see Natalie on top of me
That little spit-fire reminds me of Yaya sometimes
"What's up Natalie?" I say like I had seen her just the other day
She stands up with a shocked face and jokingly pouts
Another (female) voice chimes in "That's all you say after not seeing us in a month?"
I look up and see the rest of my friends around me
Makota and Aiden
Ya I know that's only 3 people. But who cares what you think?
I get up and grin "Yup!"
My charas fly out and over to Makota's charas (none else has them)
Aiden chuckles and steps in front of me "What up shortie? Wait that's right...everything!" He ruffs up my hair
I glare at him "Well hello to you too"
He grins and I punch him playfully in the arm before walking away with them following behind
When we get out of the airport I stop dead in my tracks and grin, but don't turn to face them
"I was kidding you know"
Natalie asks curiously "About what"
I spin around with a grin "About that being all I have to say! I missed you guys so much!"
I pull them all into a big hug "I'm just sick of being stared at for being crazy in an airport. That already happened once today"
We all laugh and a car pulls up...it's my parents
My mom literally leaps from the car and is hugging me to death within seconds
Dad...not so fast with him :)
"Welcome home sweetie!!!" Mom squeals
"Nice seeing you too mom, dad"
He walks up and pats my shoulder once mom let's go
"It hasn't been lively enough without you" he smirks
I smirks back "you sure? Mom wasn't acting like this the whole time I was gone"
He shook his head with a smile
I smile and turn to my friends who were kinda standing there awkwardly during this family moment
"Ready to go?"
They all nod and we load into my parent's car
It's great to be back home
