Kyo's P.O.V
I've been home for 3 months now, and life is boring
There are 2 more months of school here and they just keep piling on work
Me and my charas have barely had any time at all to talk to everyone back in Japan
That's seriously annoying Yaya, since she expected a video-chat every night *sighs*
School's not the only boring thing though, my free time is too (when i can't talk to the guardians that is)
There are barely any Xeggs here compared to Japan, and chasing them down was always fun
I'm lucky to find 1 a week, where as in Japan we'd find at least 3 a day
Oh well...complaining won't get me anywhere
I'm actually in a rush to meet up with the gang (Natalie, Makota, and Aiden)
We're all heading to the mall, and this time I'm not letting anyone force me into a skirt *cough, cough* like in japan *cough, cough*
Taku flew up to me as I pulled on my knee-high converse "HURRY!!! We're late!!!!"
"I know that Taku. I can tell time too" she rolls her eyes as I get up and head for the door where Jamie and Sketch are waiting
I run down the stairs, and out the door towards the mall
When we get there, Aiden's the only one there
"Yo Aiden!" I run over, my charas following behind me closely "I'm guessing they're fashionably late again?" putting air quotes around fasionably
He grins and nods "As usual" he chuckles a bit
About 10 minutes later the girls show up
"You're late..." Aiden begins
"As usual" I finish
We say that almost every time this happens, which is pretty often
Everyone chats for a bit and then we head inside
Japanese malls are so cooler *sigh*
Natalie instantly insists on going clothes shopping, which Aiden and I instantly pass on
We'd much rather go to cooler stores like Hot Topic, FYE, and the Comic Book Store
"Fine..." Natalie complained "We'll go where Kyo wants. But only cause she was gone for so long"
Makota smiles while Aiden and me high-five before dashing off
We start in Hot Topic, and Natalie instantly starts fangirling when she sees a deathnote shirt "OH MY GOD!! IT'S L!!!" she carries on for about 5 minutes with this
I highly regret talking her into watching that show. She loves it, but still refuses to watch any others at the time being
After Hot Topic, is FYE where I buy the whole Soul Eater series. BEST. ANIME. EVER!!
Then we give in and let Natalie choose a store, and she of course chooses claires
And guess what? She starts fangirling again.
This time it was about...
"ONE DIRECTION IS AMAZAYN!!!!" she grins "Sexy too"
They're a great band and all, but that's no reason to be obsessive over them
Her and Makota ended up buying things there
A few more stores later, we make it to the Comic Book Store
Taku squeals when she looks at one of the stands "KYO!! THEY HAVE THE REST OF THE SOUL EATER BOOKS YOU DON'T HAVE!!!!"
I literally push through a crowd of people to get to where she was
Makota sweatdrops "Her and her Manga" she looks to our charas and sighs
I of course buy the books, and then decide to finish our day off with arcade time at Dave and Busters
Makota asks me to play a game of...whatever those dance games are called
"No way Makota" i cross my arms over my chest (which has grown bigger along with my hair getting longer)
She sighs "Come on Kyo!" she then grins "I dare you. Or are you scared of losing are you?"
She did not just go there. She knows I can't resist a competition
I groan "Fine Makota. I'll do the stupid dance game"
I hate dancing in front of people. I may be good at these thing, but it isn't my character
She drags me to the game and we start it up
For the whole dance neither of us missed a step, so we ended in a tie
I turned to her, determination in my eyes "Again"
She grinned and as the games continued, a crowd began to form around us
I know I said I hate dancing in front of people, but at this point I could care less.She had challenged me, and I intended on winning
5 games went by and we were still tied
"Come on Makota. Give up already" I grinned. It was obvious she was tiring out from this
She smiled, a sweat beginning to break "No way Kyo"
3 more games passed by, and we were on our 9th
We had agreed to stop at 10 no matter what
By now almost the entire crowd at the arcade were surrounding us
9th ended in a tie also, so it was down to the wire.
10th game decides it all
It was almost over when our charas flew in front of the screen
"Xeggs!!"
We pushed them out of the way in a non-suspicious manner and whispered "In a minuute. We're almost done"
The sighed and waited, but what neither of us noticed was that Makota had missed a step when they blocked the way
When the game ended, we waited for our results to come on screen
"Player 2 wins"
I grin "Woohoo!!! I won!!!"
The crowd around us claps widely
Jamie yells at me over all the noise "DON'T FORGET THE Xeggs!!!"
I nod and she chara-changes with me so we can escape the crowd easier
The eggs all ended up in the upper level of the arcade
Lucky for me everyone was downstairs cause of the competition
"Jamie!" she nods and flies over
"My Heart, UNLOCK!"
"Chara Nari, Neko Punk"
(you guys know the outfit)
I ran at the Xeggs and round-house kicked em'
"Shock-wave Kick!"
The eggs fall to the ground paralyzed, so I purify them
Another thing about Xeggs here in America. THEY'RE WAY TO EASY!!!!
I need more of a challenge than this
Jamie releases the transformation, and we head back to the others
Well...I might as well say it.
I miss Japan. Everything there was just...better
