*wow...that's a big building* I walk up to the massive doors and go through, inside there are lights and stages. "AH!" A robot comes out of no where and hands me a map, I give him a suspicious look before taking it.

"Ok but if I find poison in this map I am going to HAUNT YOU!" I joked to the robot, laughing afterwards. The robot looked alarmed then, seemed to somewhat laugh too! I smiled and waved goodbye, hoping this good experience would repeat itself inside my work area.

After looking around for a bit I found the place I asked to work at, the daycare! I loved kids so I thought this was going to be fun! After all it was said the daycare was a fun, calm quiet place! Where the lights stayed off no matter what. I got to the doors but before I opened them someone came from behind and tapped me on the shoulder.

I don't know why but the vibe coming from behind me was menacing so I flipped around and saw it was just someone with blonde hair and green eyes. They had a hat called security.

"I am so sorry!" I apologized and I shook there hand.

They gave me a strange look and shook it back.

"Ya I just came here to introduce you to the robot and the job, my name is Venessa."

I got a strange shiver go down my spine but I shrugged it off and told them my name, "My name is Y/N! Nice to meet you Venessa! Sorry about the rude opening, you just startled me!" I smiled sarcastically in my head, *that's not why we reacted this way at all...something about this girl, it is off.*

"It's fine." She reasoned and opened the big doors in front. "Wanna meet Moon?"

I followed behind her I was very curious and was moving in front of her before I knew it. I was so distracted by the room. The lights were off but the walls were covered in stars that glowed and the walls were purple and blue, there were picture of an animatronic all on the walls and calming music playing everywhere like from a speaker. I was so dazzled by the strange room that I didn't notice the ball pit in front of me.

"AH!" I screamed, as I braised for impact I got picked up and held by something.

It was coming out of the call pit! It was a moon animatronic, about 10 feet tall! With glowing red eyes but they weren't threatening...they were comforting

"Oh my gosh are you ok?" The animatronic said.

"Y-ya I am fine." I was sort of mad because of how it held me, like I weighed nothing.

*hmph they are so much taller then me and I am a respectable _ foot _ ( put your height in there or use 5 foot 10 whatever you want!)

*stupid me! Always being so distracted and clumsy!" The robot must have been able to tell I was kicking myself while I was down, or up as one might say! Because his eyes turned genuine as he carefully put me down. He leaned down beside me and said,

"It's alright starlight! Don't you worry about it, the room is pretty dark and you are new! Vanessa probably thought it would be funny not to give the flashlight."

I looked back at Vanessa to see her silently laughing with a flashlight in hand. I put a fist up at here which shut her up and turned back to the robot.

"Thank you for helping me!" I said, with a smile on my face.

"Your welcome starlight! What's your name? Oh! And your pronouns!"

I smiled more sincerely at the robot and responded, "Thank you for asking for my pronouns! That is very kind of you, not many people do! My name is Y/N and I go by they, them pronouns thank you!" He tilted his face slightly and stood back up, turning to Vanessa.
"Now now Officer, why did you do that? I know you love pranks but they could have been hurt."
It's fine...?"
"Moondrop, but you can call me Moon." He replied with a smile. "Moon, it's fine she was just joking." Vanessa rolled her eyes and pulled me away. "Now now let's not fall in love just yet, we need to get your uniform on." I glared into the back of Vanessas head.Moon just rolled his eyes and walked away to go do something.
Vanessa took me to a back room, and gave me the uniform. "We'll all you gotta do is make sure the kids don't die and don't turn in the lights and you are all set!" W- "If your wondering about the lights? It's prohibited information. Don't ask Moony either, he gets really upset about it." *ok that's weird...* "Ciao." And Vanessa walked out the door, blonde ponytail wishing in its own wind. *f!ck she's cool...and creepy* I put on the uniform and laughed about how cute it was. It was a blue shirt and pants, the shirt was a button up but it had custom buttons in the shapes of moons! The shirt had stars all over and the pants were striped, they glowed in the dark. I was excited and walked out of the room to show Moon my new outfit. He smiled at me as he sat on the ground.
"What do ya think." I asked as I sat down beside him,
"I think it looks magnificent on you Starlight!"
I beamed at him and looked around at the area more, and noticed more details. I had come in through a door but most likely kids enter from a slide that connected up to a top room. The room was filled with a lovely sent that I couldn't quite place. It made me feel very tired though and I yawned and laid down on the floor. Rubbing my eyes trying to stay awake Moon hands me a candy with a good rapping around it and an animatronics face. Seeing its head being shaped like a Sun I chose not to mention it.
"It isn't something bad," Moon teased, "It's a...Sundrop... it uh, makes your feel awake and energetic, perfect for work time so we can stay awake!"
He smiled at me, though he couldn't not smile. It was like he was actually smiling at me, it made me feel comfortable here.
"Hey Moon! When are the kids showing up?"
"Ah! About 8am, so we have thirty minutes to set up an activity! Let's go see what we have!" He said and then he got up and skipped off, over to a closet.
I got up off the ground and followed him, looking in as he unlocked it. Inside was a room filled with glitter glow-in-the-dark glue and paper plates! It had flashlights and tons of other things. I stared slack jawed and used my flashlight to look at all the new things in the room! Moon noticed I was in awe and pointed at me and giggled. I promptly closed my mouth and stuffed the Sundrop in my mouth to make me feel better. It was like a burst of caffeine or something to the point I shivered. Moon turned around holding a fold-out table and carried to the main open part of the room. He grabbed the glue and some paper plates and pictures, along with scissors and other craft supplies. He also grabbed some flashlights and put them on the table.
"I thought we could decorate some flashlights for the kids to take home and then play hide-in-the-dark hide and seek!"
I put my thumbs up and smiled at him.
"Let me show you some of the best hiding spots!" He said!
He then picked me up and carried me into the air! I screamed a bit but Moon held me so tight, I felt secure in his arms. He pulled me up the the ledge he had grabbed me off of. I held onto him as we went upright and then dropped onto the ledge. He let me go and sat down by the ledge. I followed, though admittedly it took me a while to build up the courage. Sitting beside him, he turned and looked at me. He pointed at some places and told me about how good they were from the kids. The subject changed and we chatted for a few minutes. When it got to around 7:50 he got up and hooked himself up to the pulley line. I hugged him for support and winced as we took off. We landed safely on the ground as the first child went into the daycare. I let go when we hit the ground.
Only now did I realize I acted like a Disney Princess, always grabbing onto their prince around the waist and holding on. This thought made me flare up with embarrassment and thanked the gods for the darkness. I greeted the parent and Moon took them over to the table and started a game of tag. Though small, the game soon began getting massive. I joined at some point and we all played. When it was time though Moon motioned to me and we started the activity!
"Hello little Wishing Stars!" Moon said to the children, " We are going to do something really fun today!"
He grabbed a flashlight, some glow-in-the-dark safety scissors and paper.
" We are decorating some flashlights and then playing hide and go seek in the dark!"
I noticed a child on the corner, smiling at moon but looking confused. Moon noticed them however and made finger motions and explained the rules in sign language to the child! I was impressed at the engineering and smiled at Moon. He returned it and then focused on the kids again. We all sat down and started on our flashlights.
I made mine have some pretty eyes and a hula hoop skirt around it's middle with a wig! Some other kids made starts and some just spots. Eventually, everyone was done and it was time for hide and go seek. I opted out of playing to play with the kids who didn't want to play hide and seek. We sat and read books in a dimly lit area with stuffed animals everywhere. Though watching moon chase the kiddos was funny sometimes and it was hard not to laugh. He was shockingly good at it.
Once the kiddos got calmed down and were tired, we took them to nap time and fed them some moondrops to make it easier to fall asleep. I walked close to Moon when they were all asleep and motion for him to bend down. He crouched to my level and I whispered in his ear,
"So, are we just giving the kids drug$ or what?" I asked jokingly into moons electronic hearing device.
" No, no no! This is a safe chemical we made and tested here at Freddy Fazbears!" He cheered and gave me a thumbs up.
I chuckled and replied, "Alright Moony, this is my lunch break so be careful and don't do anything stupid ok?"
"Never do Y/N!" Said Moondrop, "I have it down to an art!"
I smiled and whispered back, "Ok, Mr Perfect, see if you can survive till I come back!"
He just rolled his eyes and waved me goodbye before I turned around and went to the fox court. One good thing about a big mall is plenty of food options. After walking through some big metal doors that opened to my clearance, I got to the main food court area. Deciding on having something small, as I don't usually eat lunch, I went to salads and sides. I didn't get the salad, rather just a bag of those little crunchy bread pieces on top and started munching. I was about to go to the main show to eat and watch some performances, when I decided to go back instead. Walking inside, Moony looked bored so we flew back up to the tower. We chilled and watched over the kiddos. One of them woke up and Moon had to go down and helped them go back to sleep. When the kids woke up and nap time was over they all got Sundrops to wake them up and I just hung out with Moon and the kids till the day ended. Finally when my shift was over and the night was starting I went to go change out of my uniform. Suddenly, Moon grabbed me and lifted me up and turned me around so I could face them.
"Please don't go, Starlight! I want you to stay and... have more fun with me!" He pleaded.
"I HAVE to go back Moon! I don't think I am aloud to sleep in the establishment! And even if I was, I wouldn't want to! There isn't a bed or anything, not to mention I want to go home..."
"Please! Starlight you have to! I hate being alone for so~ long! I just wanna have someone here...."
They looked so sad and I didn't wanna let him down, so despite wanting to leave,I stayed to make Moondrop happy.
"Oh happy night!" Said Moondrop, his bell ringing like a dog wagging its tail. "I have the perfect place for you to sleep!"
I went to the room and changed into my original outfit. Then Moon picked me up and we went up to his tower. There was a mattress that you could tell was a new addition, because of how messy the other parts of the was. I turned around and gave a him a sarcastic smile.
"Please Starlight...?"
They sounded so sad that I decided I would stay.
"Can I turn on a light in here so I can read before I go to sleep?"
"NO! I mean, no, no lights on aloud in the daycare."
I got freaked out by the yelling so I decided to drop it and just go to bed. I woke up the next morning to Vanessa scolding Moon. I rubbed my eyes and picked up my phone to watch something before getting up. I looked at the time and it was around seven o clock. I didn't have to worry about being late because I was already here so I got up and changed back into the uniform. Finally, I called down to Moon so he could let me down from the tower.
Vanessa looked up and noticed me, she then started lecturing Moon. Probably about keeping me here over night. He looked sad and then came up to greet me, and get me down.
He picked me up and slowly he brought us down to the ground. Vanessa raised an eyebrow at us before asking to speak to me in private. She pulled me aside in a closet, I could hear Moon moving and pacing back and forth
"So, first day here and you already have a warning in misdemeanor." She said, as I looked shocked. "You're not allowed to stay here after night, especially after business hours on your first day! The only reason you got found out is because you never clocked out last night, the higher ups are p- angry. They want to sue you for the money you kept after staying on private property without anyone's permission or clocking out!" Vanessa said, taking long breathes after being exhausted from saying that all.
My face turned white, I didn't get my check yet and my rent was due soon.
"Can't I just give the money back and never do it again?" I asked, looking pleading into her eyes.
Her eyes were green, but there was free something empty about them, like she was a video game character. Her eyes never showed emotion quiet like her face showed. Frowning, smiling, laughing, all of it, never an emotion in her eyes. They made you wanna stare at them, like you were trying to figure out if she was the robot. She obviously noticed I was staring at her, so she pulled at her collar and coughed a bit before answering my question.
"Well, possibly I suppose. You would have to set up a meeting and transfer the money back through a check to the company, but it's not sure even giving it back will work. They are really overprotective." She said, avoiding my eyes, still look awkward as ever.
I finally realized I was still staring and reprimanded myself in my brain for it. That was stupid! Bad me bad! I spat at myself in my brain. I then realized I wasn't saying anything and was just staring at the wall again. Vanessa looked so uncomfortable and I felt bad for the poor women.
"Sorry! I just got- distracted..." I apologized.
After I stopped staring it was clear she was more comfortable and opened the closet door. Moon looked over at us, as he was getting the activity for the day ready. He turned around and walked over nervously at us, again, as nervous as you can look with a smile plastered on your face.
"Do they still work here, Officer Vanessa?" Moon asked timidly, like he didn't want the answer.
"Yes Moon, but they cannot stay the night anymore!" Vanessa said, looking irritated at the whole encounter.
"Oh happy night!" Moon exclaimed and picked me up for a hug.
I swear I could hear my bone breaking as moon picked me up and I pushed away with all the strength I could muster. Vanessa heard my bones crunch and then decided to stop him.
"Moon, your hurting them, go back to making the game for today." She stated.
He heard the crunching himself, then put me down, looking guilty.
"Yes Mrs. Vanessa! Right away!" He said, then walked back over to the table.
"Good luck dealing with him for forever," Vanessa said, then she walked out of the daycare.
I was glad Vanessa was gone, and walked away to go hangout with Moon for a while as I thought it would be nice. I was excited to work here, but more excited to go home this afternoon. I think I will like it here. I thought to myself.
