The 'Freak'

Chapter 1

Scarlett Cunningham. Sister of the queen of Hawkins high. Everyone thinks I'm perfect. But I am far from perfect.

"Scar, you ready??" Chrissy said walking into my room "oh, yeah" I said, getting off off my bed and grabbing my bag. Me and Chrissy walked out to her car and she drove us to school, once she parked we got out of the car. I looked over and what do I see? Eddie mf Munson, i mean I have to admit, I always thought he was hot, but I wouldnt really be Chrissy's "perfect" little sister if I like the freak of Hawkins.

My sister snapped me out of the trance. "You ok?" Chrissy said "yeah! Let's go" I said, we both walked into the school and we walked to our first class, we sat in our usual seats, I sat behind Jason and Chrissy sat beside Jason. "Hello ladies" Jason said "hey Jason!" Chrissy said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Gross. I just ignored him. I felt a pair of eyes on me and I met the beautiful brown eyes of none other than... Eddie Munson. I quickly looked away and smiled to myself.

*Lunch*

Me, Jason, and Chrissy walked to lunch together, I was like a third wheel, I hate it. We sat at the table with the jocks and cheerleaders. We were laughing and talking until we heard yelling. "AS LONG AS YOUR INTO BAND.. OR SCIENCE.. OR PARTIESSSS OR A GAME WHERE U TOSS BALLS INTO LAUNDRY BASKETS" Eddie yelled from ontop if a table. Jason stood up and I knew if I didn't end this, it wouldn't be good. "You want something freak" Jason yelled back "Jason. Just leave it, sit your ass back down" I said, as soon as I did, Jason turned to me.

"Oh come on, don't tell me your seriously sticking up for this freak" Jason said "I'm just saying, maybe u should pick on someone your size, you know maybe a jock or something" I said "Chrissy would never.." I heard Jason mumble under his breath, I stood up.

"What the hell did u just say" I said "scar, just sit-" Chrissy started but I cut her off "no no, let him speak" I said "I said Chrissy would never say anything like that, I don't even understand how you two are sisters. You are complete opposites. Chrissy is perfect. Perfect hair, perfect grades, perfect eyes. While u r just ... A freak" Jason said. By that time I could take it anymore so...

I slapped him. As hard as I can. "Maybe u should think before u start comparing me to my sister" I said, then I walked out of the lunchroom. I heard someone following me but I already knew who it was so I paid no attention to her. As soon as I was almost out of the school, someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around.

I saw Chrissy. "What was that!" Chrissy said "that was me slapping your boyfriend because he doesn't know how to stay in his fucking place" I said, snatching my arm from her grasp "I meant.. why did u stick up for Eddie, I thought u hated him" Chrissy said "well.. things change" I said " I knew it.. I fucking knew it.. I knew the second u started zoning out and shit like that, u weren't normal. Ur a freak. Go to hell" Chrissy said, then she walked away. I was on the verge of tears.

I walked out of the school and decide to go to my "safe spot" I walked on the trail in the woods and once I got to the picnic table I sat down. I cried my heart out until I heard someone coming. I quickly whipped my tears. "Scarlett?" I heard a voice say, I already knew who it was "Eddie.." I said "hey.. I saw the argument with your sister.. I just wanted to say I'm sorry" Eddie said softly, sitting beside me.

"Thank u Eddie.. but why do u care" I said "I always care, especially for u.." Eddie said, I looked up at him. "Aw eddie... U care about me?" I said "of course I do" Eddie said, I pulled him into a tight hug. It felt like I could stay there forever. "If u need a place to stay, u can always stay with me at my trailer" Eddie said, I slowly pulled away from the hug.

"Are u sure? I don't want to be intruding or anything" I said "I'm more than sure" Eddie said "then I am more than happy to stay with u" I said with a small smile. Eddie grabbedy hand we started walking to his van. He opens the door for me and I climbed in. He shut the door and walked over to the driver's side and got in.

He drove us to his trailer. He got out and walked over to my side and opened the door for me. Gosh he really was a gentleman. I got out and he closed the door. We both walked in the house.

I know the chapter is short but the other chapters will be alot longer. I promise. I'll be updating every other day. Bye, love<3
