"I'll race you to my house!" Challenges my friend Riley Freewill As we walk out of our school. Today had been our last day of school before summer break. "bring it on!" I agree. we both take off at the same time, our feet pounding the cement, the warm, Texas summer breeze blowing gently in my face. we round the corner and I put on an extra burst of speed.

"I'm gonna win this time!" I yell over my shoulder. "oh yeah?" Riley grins as he speeds up and over takes me just as I am about to reach the front steps of his house. "I win!" he says in triumph. "see you later!" I call as I walk the rest of the way to my house.

"I'm home." I say as I open the door to my house. "How was your last day of school dear?" My mother asks as I sit down at the dinner table. "same as any other day." I answer. "welcome home Fredrick." my father says as he comes down the stairs from his office. "Your just in time for dinner." he says as I get up and help my mom set the table.

"What is for dinner anyway?" I ask. "salmon and asparagus." my mom answers. I mentally groan to myself. I hated salmon and asparagus.

As I manage to gag down some of it, my father whispers something to my mother. she nods to my father who looks back at me. "Fredrick Watson." he begins. "what did I do this time!" I panic. he rarely uses my full name except if I am in big trouble. Like the one time I...never mind.

"Yes?" I answer quietly as I look up at him. "remember how I told you about how your great grand father was the owner of those two pizzerias called, "Fredbear's family diner" and, "Freddy fazbears pizza?" He asks.

"I remember." "Why is that so important?" I wonder. He had mentioned that place a few times and had also showed me some old pictures of it.

"I know your wondering what this has to do with anything, but it's time you should know "the family secret". he says. "the family secret?" I ask. "It's something important that your great grandfather made but, well I can't really put it into words. " he admits. "It's to...complicated. but I can show you and, um, well you'll see."

"Show me what, exactly?" I ask. "The Drawkills." he says.
