The icy water sent chills up Ladybug's spine. While fighting one of the toughest villains she and Cat Noir had ever faced, she was thrown into the Seine.

She lost her yo-yo when she fell into the water and she was running out of air. Cat Noir was nowhere to be seen. She just hoped he was defeating the villain.

She swam as hard as she could to reach the surface for air, but her limbs ached. They felt like lead was weighing them down. She pushed herself to get closer to the surface, but to no avail. Soon her limbs became numb and she slowly sank. The pressure in her lungs built. They felt like they'd burst.

Her vision blurred as the ringing in her ears built. Soon, she saw stars, then black. All she felt was cold. Numb. Then... nothing.

"Ladybug!" Cat Noir screamed as he saw the love of his life fall into the Seine. 'She'll be fine,' he kept telling himself. 'She's strong.'

He knew Ladybug would want him to fight the villain while she was incapacitated.

He called upon his power of destruction. "Cataclysm!" He lunged at the villain while he was distracted. He touched the akumatized object, turning it to dust.

He looked around, waiting for Ladybug to capture the Akuma. She wasn't there. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen her for a while. Not since... no.

"Ladybug!" He called out, but no answer. He ran as fast as he could toward the Seine. He used his staff as a rebreather. He jumped into the water, looking for his lady. Panic began to overwhelm him. His chest felt tight, and his palms sweaty.

He frantically searched, but he couldn't see her. He strained his eyes and ears in the hopes that he could see or hear anything. He heard the unmistakable beeping that warned of only two minutes before Ladybug transformed back to her civilian form.

He swam as hard as he could to the noise. He finally reached her. He wrapped his arm around her and swam to the surface. He spits out his staff and threw it to the side. He heaved her onto the ground, catching his breath from the scare he had.
