Chapter 3 - Friends

I was laying down on my bed just thinking about how my life has been for the pass few weeks, it was going good plus I even became good friends with Destiny and Mahalia.

Destiny is what you call the charmer and she's so soft, you know the kind and generous ones. She had something about her that pulled me in and am welling to take a step forward and tell her how I feel about her but I really didn't want to spoil our new friendship with my needs and my foolish feelings.

Mahalia on the other hand is very pushy and in your face type but don't get me wrong Mahalia is my girl too and she gets me into the best parties and concerts.

She even helps me with some of my concerts so lets say she's like a promoter. When I tell you Mahalia knows everyone, she knows everyone!! But of course there's moments where she tries to push herself on me and I catch myself telling her the same thing over and over again.

'Am not interested!'

Ding Ding!!

I look at my phone and to my surprise I get a message from Trina and am sure she wants me to either come for her at the strip club or pick her up by some random dudes house.

TRINA- PLEASE COME FOR ME, AM BY FREDERICK

ADAM- IS THAT THE ONE ON BERN STREET

TRINA- NO BOY, ITS THE ONE ON BUTLER STREET

ADAM- OK AM ON MY WAY

As I pulled the car on the curb I could see the excitement on Trina's face. She jumped in quickly with a huge smile on her face.

"What is it with the big smile plastered on your face?" I said confused

"Fredrick gave me ten thousand dollars to go towards my birthday bash which is this Friday!"

My ears rang but I was amazed as to how much money she got from her oh so rich client.

"You can bring Destiny and Mahalia, matter fact am going to call Mahalia this instant!"

I drove home in the world of noise but I wasn't worried about that, I was worried about the gift I needed to get Trina ASAP before I get my head sliced off!

When we reached home I was forced to help Trina plan out for her big birthday bash because she had three days left to get everything together. First we looked for a theme which she wanted in all white from her decorations, to her guests but not for her.

Trina had something up her sleeve that you just had to wait to see. We called some decorators, and persons to make her invitations because it would be at least 100 people attending.

I pulled my phone out and texted Destiny.

ADAM- YOUR INVITED TO TRINA'S BIRTHDAY BASH ON FRIDAY AT 7.

DESTINY- OK BUT WHAT DO WE HAVE TO WEAR

ADAM- ALL WHITE PLUS EVERYONE HAS TO BUY A GIFT FOR TRINA BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T BE ALLOWED IN

DESTINY- HAVE YOU GOTTEN HER ANYTHING YET?

ADAM- NOPE, I HAVE TO GO GET IT TOMORROW BUT IF YOU WANT WE CAN GO TOGETHER AND I'LL DROP YOU OFF ON WORK AFTER.

DESTINY- GREAT FOR TWO THEN.

ADAM- GOOD NIGHT

DESTINY- NIGHT NIGHT

After we text I jumped into bed and into a good sleep

Destiny

I had classes until two and then I had to go gift shopping with Adam for Trina. I had several ideas of gifts in my head but it still made me feel like I could of thought of something way different.

As I stood in front the school Adam pulled up and leaned to the window saying, "Well hello there beautiful" smirking at me.

I rolled my eyes and smiled liking the comment but didn't allow him to know how I felt, "Your a trip."

I hopped in the car and we headed to the mall.

When we reached in the mall we looked at each other and smiled and in unison we said "DQ blizzard here we come!"This was our tradition when we came to the mall.

After we got our blizzards we needed to find our gifts for Trina. Like on time I saw a pink Chanel bag which screamed Trina. I immediately walked in and was greeted by a sales clerk. "How can I help you today?"

"I would like to see the Pink Chanel Bag by the window please."

She walked back with the perfect gift I was going to give Trina, "This is $1800.00." As she advertised the bag, I smiled "I'll have it."

I looked at Adam's face as we walked out and you can tell he was jealous that I found my gift first and I smiled devilish towards him. We walked around the mall, going into store after store, after store. I watched the time and I only had 45 minutes until I had to head to walk.

"Destiny, look..." I watched in the direction Adam was looking at and it had this amazingly beautiful White Fur Coat with a White Red Bottom shoes.

"Wow!" I stared it down for a while until I heard someone talk to me.

"Lets go." I looked at him and he already had the bag with the coat and shoes in it.

"Good choice, your cousin will love you more than she already does." I said as we walked out the mall.
