Unexpected (Ace Frehley)

"I know you like him". She teases. "What no, how do i know that". It is weird i know like, i know, what do i know? I don't, i don't know shit. "I know i have my period, does that explain?" "No Sav that doesn't, i like your top by the way". "Oh thanks". Something shoots up to my mind. "You fucked Steven right". Her eyes go big and a huge grin appeares on her face. "What, how?" This is amazing. "Ace and i still joke about it. BAHAHAH. Im sorry". I can't help myself, i burst out laughing and she has that dissapointing smile on her face.. I know she enjoyes it. "You guys are cute together". She blushes, the whole world can see she likes him. Its adorable. "Okay i do, so what". She smiles again. "Nothing, nothing". "But you still like Ace, don't chance the subject". "To be honest i really don't know, how do you know if you like someone?" She sits down next to me on the couch. "You just do, at some point there's just no denying it anymore". I guess i can say she's right but i've not had that many times, i only once really liked a dude. I mean, i fucked some but nothing more. "Hmm, i don't know". "Come, we need to go". She says, taking my hand.

"Tonight there will be a band playing". She says, while we prepare the bar for the night. "What are they called?" There often come bands to the bar and most of them are pretty good, but i haven't seen anything that is just better than the rest. "KISS, i believe". "Oh, we'll see".

It's a bussy night and there are a lot of people our age. A man tappes me on my shoulder "Hey, can i get another beer?"
He is older, but he looks really friendly. "Yes, ofcourse". I make the beer and return to the table he is sitting at. He is alone. "Anything else?" I say with a smile. I am enjoying the night it is croudy but nice. "Join me". Didn't expect that. "I'm sorry, but i have to work". "I'll pay you". What a weird offer. "I'm sorry, i'll get fired". I shoot him an apolegic smile.

The band comes on stage with these costumes and make-up on, it doesn't take me long to realise that the guitar belonges to ace. It's him. Along with Peter, i just met this morning. And i must admit they sound amazing. It's something i've never seen before and i don't think i am the only one thinking that. Everybody is watching them. It's like they have the people in some sort of trans. They do it like it's the most natural thing ever. How the fuck and jesus, Ace's guitar playing, i've never heard anything like it. It's so fucking good.

After they are done they sit down at a table. I walk over to ask them what they want to drink. "Hey, you guys were amazing, anything to drink?". One guy with dark curly hair speaks. "Well thank you gorgeous". Uhm. "Gene, that's Ace's roommate". Peter says. "You never told me you had such a pretty roommate". I don't really want to be here anymore. It's kinda funny but also kinda akward. "Okay Gene". Ace says. Finally someone else speaks up. "We'll have two beer and two soda's please". Thank god. "Alright". Every dream has it's end and i have to go back to their table. I return and put the glasses down on the table. "Anything else?". Luckily none of them says anything, so i walk away. When i am stopped by the man that sat alone. "Do you have time now?" I look around and everybody has something to drink and is served. "I guess". I sit down across him. "How long have you been working here?" "A month i think, why?"

I have a good confersation with him when he slides a 100 dollar bill across the table. "I can't take that". I don't want to take it, it's not that i worked for it. "Please take it". I slide back the bill. "Keep it". With that i walk off. I don't understand why someone would pay someone else to talk with them.

Shift is almost over and people start to head out. Along with the man, before he gives something to Tony. I can't see what it is. Alexa's bussy with cleaning glasses. And i'm drying them. Ace walks over. "Sav are you almost done we can get a ride home from Paul". I check the clock. "Probaply another thirty minutes". He gives a nod and walks back to the table. Alexa looks at me weirdly. "What is it". She sighs. "You guys fit so wel together like two puzzle pieces, but neither of you want to show it". "Huh?" "Just forget it".

We finish our shifts and head out with the six of us when Tony stoppes me. "A man left this for you, because you took time to talk to him and he appreciates that". He gives me a 100 dollar bill. A smile forms on my face. "Thank's Tony, goodnight". I put the bill in my back pocket and catch up with the others. "Looks like you guys have to share" Paul said getting in the car.

I am now squished in between Alexa and Ace. I don't mind, it's better than walking in the cold. We are singin along to the radio and laughing to eachothers jokes. "This is my stop". Alexa says. "Want me to walk you the last way home?". I ask wanting her to come home safe. "I'll make it, it's a safe neighboorhoud". She shoots me a smile. "Goodnight Alex". "Goodnight, love you". She shut the car door. This was the first time i had heard her say that. I love you to Alex. Even tho she can't hear me. The car starts again and we drive for five minutes, when i realize we are not going the right way. "Uhm, where are we going?" I am confused, but i don't think i'll get kidnapped or something. "Somewhere fun" Gene says.

Ten minutes go by and the car stops. "So where are we?" Paul takes my hand and leads my into a club. It isn't just a club it's full of strippers. Why the fuck would they take me here. I'm tired i just want to sleep right now. "Here". Paul gives me a drink and they all sit down. "Why?" I sigh. "What you don't want to go?". I roll my eyes. "No, i'm not gay". They laugh. "You sure about that" Ace says. Fuckin asshole. I sit down at their table. I'm not gay, but i wish i was gay to understand this. They all watch the girls do whatever their doing. All of them are really pretty. It's always an option to become a stripper at the end of the day and i think about it every now and then. But seeing all these men bricked up, i just no. I order another jack daniels, just so i can forget being here tomorrow. I can just see them being horny. All of their faces glued to the girls body's, it's crazy how much power someones body holds. Ace looks hot tho.
I down another jack just to feel my head getting light.

Next thing i know i lay over someones shoulder. I amidiatly try to get myself off. "It's just me". Ace says, unbothered. "Oh".
He takes my hand and leads me towards Paul's car. Ace gets inside and i'm met with not only the four of them but two extra girls. One in the front next to Paul and the other on Gene's lap, witch leaves no room for me, but Ace pulls me in and sits me down on his lap. "Uhm" i just don't know what to do. He slams the car door shut and i feel the heat rising to my face. I look away from him in hope he doesn't see that. One of his hands is resting on my thigh and the other on my waist. I give in and lean my head against his chest closing my eyes. I can't fall asleep but it still feels nice just laying here.
After a while the car comes to a hold and gene and one of the girls step out. I'm still laying against Ace's chest, listening to the song on the radio. When i hear Peter ask "Is she asleep?" I want to awnser but i can't seem to open my eyes, i'm just to tired. "I think so". "Have you guys, you know". "What, no we haven't Peter". Ace emediatly shoots back. Peter chuckles, "yeah right". The rest of the ride home is quiet but over soon when
Ace lightly shakes me. "Come on, we have to go" I open my eyes and push the car door open. "Thanks Paul". I say being a little less tired. We walk up to our appartment. He shuts the door and presses his lips against mine. His arm around my waist and hand on my cheeck and my hainds around his neck in his hair. I could feel him smiling against me as he picked me up and put me on the kitchen counter. Pressing his body against mine. His lips feel so soft as they go down my neck on to my collarbone, i tilt my head back cause of the feeling. He tucks at the hem of my shirt, when the phone rings. Fuck, right now? Who would be calling this late at night. We akwardly look at eachother when i finally find the courage to walk over to the phone. Hello? Ace walks of to the bathroom both of us now questioning our existence. "Is this judie parks?" "I'm sorry ma'am i think you have the wrong number". My chance of getting with Ace is now ruined over someone having to wrong number. This is just great. Fucking great. "Oh i'm sorry". I put the phone back and silent scream. NOOO, how the fuck, just no. God dammit.

We both lay in bed. I face the window so i won't have to look his way. I don't know if i like him but what Alexa said really makes me think. I defenetly like him as a friend but it's hard really knowing the difference. I don't know how people do it, but i can't. Most of the times i was too late with realizing i did love someone and i was left alone. I can't let that happen this time, i'm not going to regret it at the end of the day when i lay awake at night, thinkin about bad decisions i made. I shiver under the cold blanket. Just close your eyes and sleep, if you sleep you don't have to be here.
