"Just get over him already!", Vanita said to me.

"Nope, hold up. What do you even see on him?" Lima added asking.

"You don't understand..." I tried to explain.

"Yeah, I don't understand what you're talking about and, and, and I don't even know why I'm here!". Lisa retorted almost stamped off when I held her back and tried explaining it all to her.

My POV: ( Yeah, so I get you... I know you're probably confused about what's happening and I was confused too when it happened but here you go!)

So I switched schools to Crestview High school when I entered Grade 10. I switched because I didn't like my old school anymore--
My expectations were not being met in one way or another. I thought the program I wanted to offer was something other than what it actually was. Also, I discovered that the school didn't offer the enrichment activities I felt I needed. My parents quickly arranged for a transfer, of course they would do anything for their only princess.

The necessary formalities were made and I had to start my new journey. That Tuesday morning being my first day, my mum personally drove me to school
*****************************
Time skip, I was directed to my class. I climbed the stairs, attracted a few stares, from the guys and girls alike, quite normal but it felt awkward. With my heart beating faster out of nervousness, I entered the class and luckily found no one in. The classroom was quite large and I swear I would have fainted if all my classmates were present. I looked through the spaces and finally found a seat with no bag beside it, I took that seat and began to get over my nerves by picking up one of my books to read. Eventually, people started entering and I failed to stare at them because I was still feeling quite uneasy. Soon the class was filled with students and I could feel eyes all over me . I still sat with my eyes fixed into my book. I could here someone whisper, " Who's this hot blonde?" but I couldn't make out whether that voice was a male's or a female's.
I was not that 'social butterfly' kind of person. I should say, I had no social life at all, I hardly got out of my house since I had everything I needed in there. If there was anything I needed, all I had to do was to ask. My parents didn't like me having many friends too. So I sucked so much when it came to starting up convos with new people.

A girl who sat infront of me noticed me and managed to catch my attention by fidgeting with the book she was holding so I finally gave her what she wanted; attention

Girl: Hey, you're new right?

Me: Right

Girl: Oh cool(boxy smile). My name is Lexine and you're?

Me: I'm Stacey, just call me Stacey..

Lexine: Wow, Stacey, nice to meet you. Your age?

Me: Is this supposed to be some kind of interview?(I said but in my heard so that she couldn't hear me)
"I'm..."

Before I could finish my words, a tall guy rudely interrupted, " Yo Lexine, leave the barbie girl!"

I was like,"how dare you interrupt my conversation?"(but I said it in my head so no one could hear but myself).

"Do you know what you just did?" Lexine asked, you just interrupted my conversation with Stacey" she roared back an answer to her own question.

What the fuck! She just revealed my name to the entire class. I rose up my head and I found dozens of eyes fixed on me that I almost choked on my own saliva. I almost blushed, almost and went back to my book. Soon the class was turned upside down with different sorts of conversations and I now had no one to talk to since Lexine was pissed off, thanks to Mr. Tall Guy. He was apparently the tallest guy in the class and sh*t he sat next to me in class, thank goodness, we were separated by some 2 meter space, otherwise I would have freaked out. He had a daunting aura that apparently made some of the students fear him, however I didn't. I hated him from the onset, how he rudely interrupted my conversation, and I knew I wasn't going to like him for as long as we stayed in one classroom. I felt so awkward wondering how long it'll take for me to cope with my new environment. It had people of all attitudes; the bossy ones, the popular girls, the nerds, those who would pass comments on anything that happened and then of course, the rude boys. I didn't like how quiet I had been but I couldn't do anything to stop myself.

A teacher entered the class. He looked like a boring teacher. He just picked up a market and put a work on the board. I had no idea about the topic the work was about. I looked around and everyone was writing so I took a book and began to scribble nothing. I guess he was a geography teacher because the work was on maps. He finally noticed me and called me up.

Teacher: Are you new? Yeah you obviously are.
What's your name?

"Stacy."( A deep voice from beside replied) and I knew this could be no other than Mr. Tall Guy or should I say Mr. Annoying Tall Guy. I turned to him with rage and turned back to the teacher because he refused to return the stare. "Stacy what?" I turned again to Mr. Annoying Tall Guy expecting him to answer since he knew 'everything' about me. I was backed by stares from the other students, they obviously also expected an answer from him. "Ain't you gonna reply, Marx" Lexine asked. "Ohh, so his name is Marx...I see" I thought with a curled upper lip. When no answer came from him, I turned my attention back to the teacher and replied, "Stacy, Stacy Larson".

"Reason for leaving other school..?"

"Uhh...does that really matter?" I asked but this time out loud so everyone else could hear me.
"Yes it does"

"It doesn't"

"Are you arguing with your teacher?"

"Oh that doesn't matter either.

I'm obviously not arguing"

"You're not..."
His words were cut when another tall guy barged into the class. He had smooth brown skin and his hair was to die for. He was late, it was almost 9:00am and the teacher did not let him go scot-free without scolding him, the guys teased him and the girls giggled and he was just smiling as he went to take his seat. He sat on the third column, the last seat while I was on the second column, the last seat too also separated by a distance. So I was sandwiched between Marx and the other guy.

During break I only managed to catch up a few words with some of my classmates. I felt a little relief after chatting with them.
