Nature Is Beautiful

Blaze put her messy hair up in a large ponytail. Due to being a royal she always had to keep her hair down and wear makeup and fancy dresses. All of that gets boring after a while. Blaze put on a white T-shirt and blue denim shorts, she almost forget to put on her belt bag where she keeps all of her smaller survival gear. Blaze quickly and silently snuck out through one of the castle's windows and made her way to the nearby forest. Once Blaze reached the forest she looked around for her favorite tree, a large apple tree with the words "love yourself" on the trunk. Blaze grabbed the lowest branch and started climbing as high as she could go. Blaze sat down on one of the highest branches and looked out across the forest. Nature is beautiful. But not in the way that diamonds and gold are beautiful. It's a lot less stressful than being in the castle. The castle always had things going on, like large dinners, learning how the be proper and have good posture, large balls, the list goes on. Blaze was always happy when she could sit in the forest and watch the birds and play with the bugs and feed the squirrels and chipmunks. This was the life she preferred.

POV Mushroom

Mushroom slowly peeked around a tree, making sure that the cost was clear. "Is he gone?" Kimberly asked worriedly from behind Mushroom. Mushroom scanned the area again. "I think so." Mushroom said, still looking around. "We almost got caught by a predator!" Kimberly sounded concerned. Mushroom didn't know why Kimberly was so worried about almost being caught by a predator, even if they didn't hide they wouldn't be spotted because of how short they were (around 1 foot) compared to the predator. "Well we didn't." Mushroom pointed out. "We could've gotten killed Mushroom!" Kimberly whined. Mushroom didn't like that Kimberly was always so worried about being caught, they have done this hundreds of times before and never got caught. Why would that change now? But Mushroom put up with it because they were friends and Mushroom really liked Kimberly. Mushroom sighed. "But we didn't." Mushroom looked back at Kimberly to give her a reassuring smile, Kimberly's light green dress was was slightly swaying in the light breeze. "I know what I'm doing." Mushroom said with full confidence.
As soon as Mushroom and Kimberly walked into camp the other members rushed towards them. Mushroom was part of a small group of skeletons, and as everyone knows, skeletons are prey to predators, prey usually stay in small groups of their own species. " Where were you two!?" Cane waved her arms up and down, making the dark blue petals on her dress bounce around. "We were worried." Morley said in his small voice. "We though you got caught by a predator!" Tobi worriedly squeaked. "Don't worry! We're fine.' Mushroom reassured everyone. Kimberly didn't look very convinced. "Prey shouldn't be running off like that!" Bay scolded Mushroom and Kimberly, but it wasn't very affective. "If you're not careful you could end up like Wolf." Huckleberry warned. Wolf was a member of the group who was killed after falling into The Death's trap. "They came back safe, so it's fine." Bramble rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Yeah!" Ember agreed excitedly. "Maybe?" Larch seemed to be on the edge about agreeing with Bramble and Ember. "If a predator saw them it could have followed them back here." Angelice growled and gave Mushroom the death glare. "Predators are scary." Leif said fearfully. "If they were seen I'm sure we would know by now." Olivia said gently.

Blaze POV

Blaze noticed that the sun was starting to set and she wondered if she should head back to the castle soon. Blaze stopped when she noticed a small cave opening hidden amongst the trees and bushes. Blaze was confused as she had never seen that cave before even though she know the entire layout of the forest. Blaze entered the cave, excited to see what she would find. Blaze was walking for at least 20 to 30 minutes. This is one long ass cave. Suddenly light appeared and Blaze ran to the exit. As soon as Blaze stepped out of the cave she took in her surroundings. Their was giant plants and the trees stretched miles into the sky. "Wow!" Blaze said. This place was definitely better than the stupid castle! "This place is awesome!" Blaze shouted into the new more colorful forest.
