you where at a oscorp party with peter as harry had invited him to make the party "less boring" peter brought you because he thinks it will give you an advantage to meet some powerful people and he's not wrong but social gatherings have never been your thing especially large parties filled with rich no one's that only want more money or for their names to be known- you on the other hand just want to do what you love.... Science! it's always been so fascinating to you and it's always been your favorite class you have known both harry and peter for a long time but you and harry never really became close and that's ok with you because you have peter.... you where sitting on a sofa in the corner it was only you because peter was talking to people and harry was talking to a girl- you don't mind as you have a good book in your hand and some tea in the other..... but as usual someone has to bother you- you look up to see harry's dad norman osborn a man you don't really know because you kind of avoided him like crazy as harry always made him seem mean- you smile at him "what are you doing all alone?" norman asked raising an eyebrow you shrug and say "harrys talking to a girl and peter is talking to some famous scientists-"norman nods "I prefer to be alone anyways" you look at your book and then up at him "all i need is a good book and some tea to be happy" the older man hums "harry told me about you" he passes for a moment "he said you don't like socializing with others" you just nod and go back to reading having no interest in talking to the older man anymore "he also told me you love Science" that caught your attention
