Chapter 2~ hide

Skylar's POV
I looked around the store waiting for the limpers to. I kept searching until I found five boxes of ammo in the back room and in the back there was a few really nice rifles, two hand guns, and a knife.
Boy did we hit the jackpot.
"Skylar the monsters are gone."
"Thank you Olivia can you just check again just to make sure please."
"Sure, umm I don't see anything."
"Here come and let me check."
I went over to the window and saw nothing.
"Well that's good."
I unlocked the door and we walked out.
We saw one limper and Olivia went over and killed it.
"Your getting better."
"Really?!"she looked up at me with a sparkle in her eye.
"Yep I wouldn't lie to you, you do know that, right?"
"Yep."
"Good."
We went into a few other stores we found more food in the cafeteria and and lots of clothes.
Olivia found a purple dress and a blue frilly skirt with grey tights and a blue shirt.
I found a nice red crop top and black ripped tights with knee high boots that are flat.
There were more clothes but none where good enough for the apocalypse.you needed something that is easy to run in.

Olivia's POV
I love skylar she's so nice but those monsters are soooo scary. I want to live with her forever but that's not gonna happen I know she'll turn into one soon enough.
"Skylar can I change into my dress?"
"Yep just go into the change room don't worry I cleared it."
"Ok."
I grabbed my skirt, shirt, and tights and walked to the change room.
When I got out a strange man had skylar I hid and made sure he didn't see me.

Skylar's POV
I watched Olivia skip to the back when I heard a familiar voice behind me.
I turned around and saw Hunter my best friend since kindergarden.
"Hunter? Is that you?" I asked I wasn't certain.
"Skylar?"
He ran up to me and gave me a big bear hug.
I let go
"I missed you I thought you died when the shit happened."
"Me too, I was really worried"
"Did you see Kara get out."
( Kara is hunters younger sister)
"No"
"Oh." I felt tears coming but I held them back I didn't want hunter thinking I was a wimp.
"I found a little girl her name is Olivia she just went to go get changed, I need to check on her."
"Ok"

Hunters POV
I can't believe I found skylar, I missed her.
I thought she was dead I guess I was wrong.
I looked up and saw a little girl around ten hiding behind skylar.
"Wh-who is that skylar?"
"He is my best friend hunter."
"Ok will he hurt me."
"No I won't hurt you I had a little sister around your age as well I won't hurt you or skylar I promise."
"Ok."
I looked at skylar I could see that she loved Olivia, it was cute.. wait did I just say that? Do I have feelings for skylar? No I can't. I just can't.
"Um skylar we need to find a place to camp for the night." I said weirdly

Skylars POV
When hunter said that I thought it was cute, I've always had a crush on him, just something about him.
"I found a key to the hunting store we could lock up and hide in there."
"Good idea."
We walked over to the store I grabbed the keys and locked up.
Hunter made a fire, while I gave Olivia some water and a granola bar.
*few hours later*

Olivia was sleeping behind the counter I told her to stay behind there for safety reasons.
"Hunter can you be on watch tonight?"
"Sure."
I watched his eyes glow from the fire it was magical, but it's hell now how could someone be in love it guess could never happen.

Hunters POV
I watch skylar fall asleep, some times she caught me staring at her then I'd quickly look away.
I buried my feelings for her deep down so I never thought about it but when i looked at her alone and her with Olivia I fell in love but I can't the world is shit or hell which ever one you want to call it.
She finally fell asleep.

*morning*

Skylars POV
I kept thinking about hunter and every time I opened my eyes I caught him looking at me. does he like me too?
I felt my arm shake than my entire body shaking.
I woke up and saw hunter I could tell that he was scared because he kept say my name over and over.

"Hunter what's wrong?"
"There are guys out there they have really big guns and lots of ammo and they look like they can hurt us."
"Stop freaking out let me check."
I looked out the window and saw them they looked really familiar wait I know them they were in jail
For rape, mostly little girls and teens.
"We need to hide."
"Why?"
"I saw them at the jail when I worked there they were arrested for rape."
"Huh?"
"They rape little girls and teens we have a little girl and we are teens, we need to hide."
"Good idea."
We ran to the back of the room and hide when we heard their voices outside of the store.
"Olivia you have to be quiet."
"Why skylar".
"Those men are bad you need to be quiet."
"Ok"
Hunter held us close I felt safer with hunter around me.

How was that chapter? I will update this story every day after school it was a bit late today because I was hanging out with some friends but comment if you want me to write a little note telling what hunter looks like.
