"What's happening?" Rin asked as he sat down on the bed inside the room with Kita.
"What do you mean, Rin? Nothing is happening." Kita replied pulling the chair under his desk and sitting, his back facing the middle blocker.
"Nothing? But, I am certain-" Rintarō began but was stopped as the captain interrupted him.
"So could you tell me what is happening?"
"I... Wasn't it your obligation to tell me? You became so cold-" Suna answered, almost standing off the bed.
"I have always been like this." Kita replied settling more properly on his swivel chair, his back still facing Suna who was sitting on the edge of the bed
"N..No.. You're better than that.. You never once face your back against me especially when we are talking."
Kita turned his head slowly to look at Rin's pained face. The captain looks away instantly even before they could make eye contact.
"Something must be happening, Shin." Rin frustratedly commented, the corner of his eyes are wet with tears.
The other didn't respond for the next few minutes. Silence filled the small room, Rintarō just runs out of words, almost biting his lower lip staring at his boyfriend's back
"Go home, Rin. I'm busy right now." Kita broke the quiet atmosphere without looking at his boyfriend.
"No... Unless you tell me what's been goin' on-"
"I told you already... the club, my classes, and cram school are just taking much of my time-" Kita answered almost yelling
"So you mean to say, you cannot spare any seconds to even look at me, Shin?" Suna questioned as he grabbed and tightened the grip on the bedsheets.
Kita sighed then slightly looked at his boyfriend.
"That's better." Suna commented, almost crying
"It's late. You should go home, Rin." Kita calmly suggested, their eyes locking for a moment before the older averted his eyes away.
"Why are you always like this? Since I got back, you always want me to go home or spend less time with you. Are you hiding something from me?" Suna asked sniffing
"You always assume things, Rintarō. It's late okay? I'm just thinking about you." The captain said standing off the chair facing the younger middle blocker.
"Yeah?" Rin stood off the bed too and walked in front of Kita. The younger lifted the captain's chin and slowly kissed the smaller male.
In shock, Kita pushed Rintarō away with astonished expression. Shinsuke looked down on his bluish gray flip-flops.
"W- What's wrong with you!?! For the last 4 years, never once... never once you pushed me away, Shin! Something's up! And you better tell me!" Rin blurted with furrowed brows.
Kita lifted his head and latched his eyes on his fuming boyfriend.
"Let's end this, Rin.""What?!?" Rintarō gasped stepping back
"It isn't you. It's me-"
"That's what people always say! If it isn't me and it's you, then tell me... What's going on?!" Rin asked defeatedly and weakly. He felt like crying for fuck's sake
"Come on. Grow up, Rin." Kita sternly said, but eyes looking away
"Grow up?" Rintarō scoffed glaring at his boyfriend.
"What's growing up needs to do when you're actually breaking up with me?""Listen. We're not working on... our relationship isn't working, Rin."
"4 years! We've been dating for 4 fucking years... and now you're telling me, we're not working?!?" Suna yelled, frustration started to brew up with his lungs.
"Sorry.. But, I can't do this anymore. Stop acting like this Rin... Stop being a kid, stop your tantrums... It won't change anything."
"What you're saying is I'm childish and that's why you wanted a break up... So it's me after all?!?" Rin replied almost choking on the realization.
"What I'm saying is-"
"Fuck you! Fine! Let's end this fucking relationship, KITA-SAN!" Rintarō angrily said storming out of the room

"Stupid Samu... He should have at least accompanied me out here." Atsumu mumbled to himself exiting the convenience store blocks away from their house. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a particular guy with dark brown hair sitting at one of the store benches. The said guy was staring at nothing before he buried his face into his folded arms on the table.
Atsumu frowned.
"Suna?" he wondered as he walked near the guy and sat opposite to him.
"Uhmm.. Excuse me... Suna?" he questioned making the mentioned man lift his head.
Atsumu noticed how frustrated, upset, and sad the guy is.
"What... What's wrong?"
"A.. Atsu... Atsumu..." Rintarō pulled the older twin in a very tight hug.
The middle blocker cried muffled frustration. For the last 5 minutes, Rin just sobbed hard enough for Atsumu to feel worried.
Eventually, Rin stopped crying and lets go of the blonde. Suna scoot away a little from the setter on the bench, head lowered, eyes still watering.
Atsumu moved closer next to his teammate, worriedly examining the other.
"I'm sorry, Atsumu. I just suddenly burst out crying-"
"Ya don't have to feel sorry about feeling upset. Getting hurt or feeling anything is beyond our control..." Atsumu said consoling the younger teammate.
But yet again, Rintarō whimpered, biting his bottom lip..
"Tell me what happened." Atsumu persuaded.
"My... boyfriend.. broke up with me."
Atsumu intently stared and listened at the other. Curiosity took over him wanting to know who and how, and why about Suna's relationship
"Shinsuke and I broke up." Suna mumbled, downhearted.
Atsumu's eyes widened in disbelief.
