Bluey Stories and Shorts!

This episode of Bluey is called...

  Career!

     Bluey and her mum, Chilli, dropped her off at her primary school, Bingo fidgeting with the zipper to her bookbag. Today was career day, Bluey came dressed up as a veterinarian. She met with Chloe, her best friend near the entrance. "Hello Bluey!" Chloe said, a smile on her spotted face, the sun was just about to rise, a low light creeped along the Brisbane horizon. 

    As the two young pups entered the primary school, several students had dressed up as their dream careers. Indy was a nurse, Rusty and Jack army men, Mackenzie an astronaut. Bluey held the crate with a strong clutch. Calypso called upon the class to come to her spot. 

  The children scurried away like startled kangaroos along the bush trails. They met the cattle dog sitting on a wooden crate, her blue bandana swayed with the wind from the outdoors, a few birds chattered as well. "Alright children, each of you have dressed up as your dream career, you will present it to the front of all your friends. " Calypso announced her eyes scanning the class, looking for any missing students. "Is Winton here?" Calypso asked, her eyes looking at the students. "He went on holiday to Sydney!" a child announced, unsure whom it was who announced his absence, but Calypso called on each student on to present.

     "What a lovely career Chloe! Now, Bluey it is your turn to tell us your career. " She looked at the blue heeler with a comforting look in her eyes. "A-alright." she stood up, her tail drooping slightly, she opened the crate to reveal a fruit bat stuffed toy, along with a few play strawberries, blueberries and peaches. "I would like to be a veterinarian when I grow up.. I want to help fruit bats! They're my absolutely favorite animal!" Bluey held the toy fruit bat to the rest of the class, she pretended to hear its heart beat with her toy stethoscope. "Thank you Bluey, what a very helpful career! Alright children! Sit down at the tables for your lunch!"
