As you guys and gals know the phone guy worked before you did so here's some theory's I have for you
1: the phone guy he maybe golden Freddy because on the 4th or 5th night he dies and the next night golden Freddy is on the phone so I think that the phone guys soul is in the golden Freddy suit, also when golden Freddy comes he says its me and he knew that he wasn't going to live much longer so he has been training you and explaining to do when he's gone
