You couldnt do it anymore he was your last hope and he left. The one person who said he would be there forever is gone and is not coming back.
Thick black mascara lines flow down your eyes in your dark,isolated apartment where he once lived scent of him still flowing around you, you just wanted it to end but you couldnt do that you still had one person who cared about you and you couldnt leave him alone in this cruel world.
My shaking fingers hover over the call button to my best friends contact until i finally pressed the button hearing 3 rings until i heard his voice on the other end of the line making me sigh with relief.

"y/n why are you calling so late at night its past 3am" his husky voice speaks down the phone as more tears flow down my eyes. silence is passed back as i finally had the courage to speak with clear heartbreak in my voice
"Jungkook, h-hes gone he l-left me i guess i-i wasnt good e-enough for him" i squeak as my voice stutters. rustling is heard on the other side of my phone as im curious as to what he was doing.Does he care.Did he hear what i said. I was about to speak again until i heard his voice again making me feel at ease
"stay right where you are y/n dont do anything stupid I'll be on my way" and with that he hung up, i was left speechless, maybe being alone wasnt so bad anymore when i have my best friend by my side.

3 loud knocks were heard on my apartment door i got up not caring what i look like right now as it was only my best friend of 7 years i slowly opened up the door only to be slammed into his hard chest as he caresses my hair as i break down into his arms with him telling me that its going to be ok.
Jungkook pulls me back a little wiping my tears from my eyes kissing my forehead before he picks me up as i wrap my legs around his waist as he takes me to my room to lay me and tuck me in my bed as he gets in beside me and hugs me from behind until i sleep but before i close my eyes i hear him whisper into my ear
"i will always protect you y/n and no matter what happens ill always be by your side princess" and it made my heart flutter was this maybe the start of my feelings for my best friend should i tell him or should i not and watch him fall in love with another girl and i couldnt let that happen, i couldnt lose him aswell,
