So this was it, the beginning of my senior year. Last year had been the most emotional year of school yet. I had to say goodbye to alot of people, and it sucked. My best friend, Sylvia, almost would have left me too.
They were advanced in alot of different classes and the school considered moving them straight to senior year last year, but Sylvia stayed with me.

"Freya?", I heard Sylvia whisper behind me. I turned around and smiled "Hey Sam!" I whispered back.
I heard footsteps behind me and an old lady shushed me and Sylvia, "No talking during assemblies." Me and Sylvia looked at each other and laughed quietly. Sam had been my best friend since 2nd grade. I looked at the sun and got temporarily blinded, and Sylvia was desperately trying to comfort me, telling me jokes and such. And after that, we began talking.

Shortly after the assembly finished, me and Sylvia walked over towards our elective rooms, Like always, Sylvia smelled like coffee and what I imagine Fall would smell like. "Freya, don't you have orchestra?", I had been staring at her all walk and didn't even notice we passed the fine arts hall. "Right,", I quickly said, "But I was thinking maybe I could walk you to art?" Even though I only spat that out so I wouldn't look stupid, I did want to walk her to classes. Sylvia smiled and nodded "Sure, why not"
