should have cared more-

Here's the thing, Tommy knows he's oblivious, he knows he's kinda stupid sometimes- but he has never hated himself more.

He got comfortable, and he got pliant. So now he has to pay for his mistakes, everyone has to pay for his mistakes. He didn't want this, he swears he didn't!

It had just been way too long since he's held, loved, and appreciated. And when they had come into his life once more and gave him the things he had been desperately craving? Well it's not his fault for saying so long is it?

So you can guess he got a very surprising, and very rude awakening when he saw the forms of his two friends through the window. He had been sitting in his room- after finally having some alone time- and was sewing.

When he heard a soft 'tap' on his window. Looking out he dropped the needle and thread in shock, before racing over with water eyes.

As he opened the window mouth open in shock, he knew he was about to scream, not really concerned about it all too much. I mean why would he? They're here! Tubbo- Ranboo- they're here!

Before he could though a hand was quickly slapped over his mouth startling him. Tubbo quickly shushed him, looking around as he and Ranboo fiddled nervously.

"Tommy- oh gods you're ok! Thank prime!" The brunette whispered, leaning in to hug the blond.

"What happened? You were missing... we couldn't find you- and you weren't answering your com?" Ranboo meekly asked, resting his arms over his shoulders, almost afraid that the blond wasn't really there.

Tommy just smiled, before his face fell and quickly turned into quiet sobs. He told them everything. About being chased threw an ally- getting drugged- being held hostage. All while never once leaving their arms.

The two didn't say a word as Tommy poured his heart out to them. So relieved to get all of the pain, and suffering that he's endured these few months out in the open.

By the end all of them were crying, tears sizzling on the dual haired boy's cheek, although it's not as if he cares all too much. Tubbo wasn't fairing much better though, halfway through the story he had quickly placed a hand over his mouth, muffling his sobs.

"Tommy...I'm so sorry- I really am. We tried to find you, I promise we did!" Tubbo squeaked out, desperately trying to make the blond understand how sorry he was.

Tommy smiled and snorted a bit before nodding, "I know you did tubso, I never doubted you two for a second." A lie but they didn't have to know that.

Tubbo smiled, before shaking his head.
"We can continue reunions later, right now we have to run."

Tommy smiled wide, and nodded excitedly. Taking their hands he steps out into the cold, barely even noticing the violent shivers that rack through his body, far too excited to care.

"Come on quickly, before they notice you're missing." Ranboo whispers before quickly pulling the two towards the forest and into the darkness.

When they decide they're far enough away to stop running, Tommy pauses for a moment before breathing in the wooded air deeply, a new found sense of freedom overtaking him.

It all comes crashing down when they hear an ear shattering roar, angry and desperate. Technoblade.

He grabs his friends arms and starts running, never letting go as they dodge sticks, rocks, and thorny bushes, not once letting the obstacles slow them down.

The roar starts up again, this time with an airy and more whimsical one following it. A rush of gear and adrenaline rush through the blond as he runs.

Only thing he thinks of is the inevitable death of his friends if they are caught, the fact that they will never let him go, never let him leave, makes him push his legs faster.
