I got my bag and walked back downstairs to see Mitch and Jerome smiling at me. Soon I know that those smiles will turn to the smirk my dad and his friends always had. "hey Katie are you ready to go?" Mitch asked. "y-yes sir." I said. What Jerome said shocked me. "sweety you dont have to call us sir you can call us dad and Papa our just Mitch and Jerome." he added the last part when I cringed at the word dad. "okay" I simply said. By now we are in a car. About 30 minutes later we are parked in front of a huge house, and I stare at it with amazement in my eyes. "you live here?" I asked. "no we live here." Mitch said. I faked a smile, because I know where I'll end up. It always ends the same. Me being hurt.
