We'll see the light again

CHAPTER7

''And when we get my parentsout of here, maybe you can take me out on a date''

He smiles at that.

''Sure, i'll take you on a date''

This makes me smile too.

''Let's go''

We get out the car. Ben goes behind my back. 

''Your hands sweetheart''

I give him my hands so, he can tiye them up, for the plan. The plan is for me to look like i was captured by Ben and he bought me here. We get in, find my parents and get out. 

''Is it too tight?''

He asks when he's done tiying up my hands. 

''No, it's ok''

He lightly kisses my cheek.

''Then let's go''

We don't even get to the building because of all the soldiers suddenly surrounding us. Some of them grab Ben, others me.

''Ben!!!''

I try to fight back, but i can't do anything. 

''Katelyn!!!''

He's fighting too, but one of the soldiers hit him in the head with a gun. And i'm taken away.

They throw me into this jail room like thing. I fall down pretty hard on my face. I can feel four hands helping me up. There's a girl and a boy. I'm guesing they're twins because they look a like. The boy untiys my hands. 

''Thanks''

I quickly get up from the floor, shouting. 

''Mom, dad''

I run from one side to another. Shouting their names.

''Hank, Lydia Hopper!''

But there's no response. 

''My parents, w-wh-''

I can't breath anymore. 

''She's having a break-down''

Says the girl. She comes and hugs me from behind. We bot sit on the ground. She's leaning against the wall while i'm leaning against her chest. She gently strokes my hair and the guy trys to calm me down with his words. He has knelt to the ground in front of me to be with me on one level.

''Hey, shh it's ok''

He says calmingly. 

''Breath with me''

I focus on his breathing. Inhaling and exhailing. It seems to help. Eventually i breath on my own and i'm completely calm. 

''Good, you're doing great''

''You should sleep now''

I'm so exhausted that i close my close my eyes and fall asleep.

I wake up still in the girl's arms.

''Good morning''

She says in anusually cheering for this situation.

''I'm sorry''

I say, getting off her. 

''It's ok''

''I'm Astrid and that's Derek''

She says pointing at herself then at her brother. 

''Katelyn''

We shake hands. I go to the bars of the room. 

''We have to get out of here''

''Do you have a plan?''

Asks Derek, coming up behind me. 

''I do''

I say, proud of myself. And so the big planning starts.

It's evening and almost everybody is already asleep, except me. I was looking at the ceiling thinking about Ben.

''What are you thinking about?''

Derek's voice brought me out of my thoughts. 

''Tomorrow when we get out of this room, you run, you run with all you got''

''Aren't you going to do the same?''

I barely shake my head, but he understood it as a ''no''.

''There's someone i have to find first''

''You can't-''

He was going to say something, but i stop him.

''You would do the same''

''For her''

I point at the sleeping Astrid next to him.
