It was my first day of seventh grade at Hinsdale Jr. High. I got off the bus and headed toward the school. I could hear the teenage girls squealing as they became reunited. I could see the guys giving friendly high fives. I just kept walking. I didn't have to many friends, I'm a skinny nerd with glasses and short black hair, who would be friends with that. As I turned the corner to find my locker I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Hey Jackson!"
It was my best friend George. I hadn't seen him in a while. It was good to see him. I reached my locker and found out that his locker was next to mine. "This is going to be a great year," I thought to myself.
I got all of my belongings unloaded and it was time for my first period class. I rushed to my first period teacher, Mrs. Patton's, room. I saw George and sat next to him. Just like any first day of school all we did was go over rules. Time went by and it was time to go home. I got on the bus and put in my headphones. Not to long after that I was home. I went outside for a bit then went in to watch YouTube, had dinner, and went to bed.
In the morning I woke up tired as always. Dragged my self to slave away another day at school. It wasn't to bad tho. Got to meet some new teachers, Mr. Ramirez (Science) and Mrs. May (Reading/Language Arts) were probably my favorites. It was lunch time and I headed to the cafeteria. I saw my friends so I went to go sit by them. We ate, talked, and before we knew it, it was time to go. I was in all of the same classes as George so I stuck with him all the time. It wasn't long before we got in the swing of things. The clock struck 2:08 and it was time to go home. I got on the bus and went home, waiting for what will come the next day.
