Chapter 6 - Suspicions

Scorpio's POV

I walked through the halls, keeping a fast pace. Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Gemini were fast walking with me. "Oh, we are so late!" Capricorn complained. "I know, just keep this pace and we might be able to make it," I reassured her. It was 7:40 and the tardy bell rings at 7:45. "Why are we even trying to get to class? We're all already late." Gemini yawned, half asleep. She was being dragged by Aquarius. "I am NOT being late to class!" Capricorn glared at Gemini. "Don't argue! Look! There's your class!" Sagittarius pointed out. "Good!" Capricorn ran inside of Mr. Draco's class and I heard her panting.

Sagittarius, Aquarius, Gemini, and I kept our pace. "There's mine! Catch Scorpio!" Gemini was tossed to me as Aquarius ran into Geography. I caught her and carried her on my back. "Why do we have to rush? We're already late!" Gemini complained, yawning when she finished speaking."Because it's only 7:42, we still have 3 minutes to spare, here's your stop sis." I dropped her off at English and she sleepily walked into the room. I rolled my eyes as Sagittarius and I kept the pace. "Well, we have the same class, and we're almost there!" He picked up the pace as I did the same. Our class, Ms. Delphinus' class, was at the end of the hallway, and this was a long hallway. I heard her voice, it sounded like she was calling attendance! "You hear that? We better get going!" We picked up the pace again as time was ticking.

I checked the time from a clock that was on the wall. 7:44! "We only have one minute left! Come on!" We were both running now. Ms. Delphinus' voice became clearer. "Taurus?" "Here." "Leo?" "Here!" "Scorpio?" Sagittarius and I rushed through the door at the same time when I heard my name. I felt his foot hit mine as he collapsed on top of me, making me fall. Just then, the tardy bell rang. "Present.." I mumbled. "Well, you two got here just in time." We looked up to see Ms. Delphinus looking at us with her eyebrow raised. I felt humiliated. "Are you two ok?" I heard a soft voice. We both looked up to see Cancer. "Yeah, we're fine. Right, Scorpio?" Sagittarius elbowed my arm playfully. "Yes, we are both in one piece, and just barely on time." I rolled my eyes. Cancer smiled and let out her hands to help us both up. I took her right hand while Sagittarius took her left. "Thanks." I nodded to Cancer as she smiled. "Well, enough chit-chat, get to your seats." Ms. Delphinus sighed. All three of us got to our seats as class had officially started. I knew this would be a long day.

(When break rolls around..)

Ugh, I cannot believe I was just barely late today. Though, I've noticed that Aquarius had been really weird these past few days, more than usual. It's like she's hiding something, and I think someone knows. I haven't mentioned anything to her, as I don't want to make any assumptions too quickly, like I tend to. I just wonder if any of the girls know- "Hey Scorpio," I turned to see Capricorn. "Oh hey. Didn't think you'd come to me. Where are the rest of the girls? Aren't you their leader or something?" I raised my eyebrow. Capricorn nodded. "I technically am, but they're not here yet, and you looked like you were lost in your thoughts. What's going on?" I looked down, puzzled about how I was going to explain this to Capricorn. "So, I'm not quite sure how to exactly put this into words," I looked back at Capricorn with a curious and serious expression on my face. She crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow. "Well?" She had a puzzled look on her face, but curiosity lingered in her eyes. "I think Aquarius is hiding something." I slightly cocked my head and signaled to Aquarius. She was fiddling with her hair while talking with Aries. Capricorn looked over to Aquarius, observing her sister's body language. "You think? What could she be hiding?" Capricorn turned and faced me. "I'm not sure, and I don't want to jump to conclusions." I crossed my arms. "Now that you mention it, she's been spending more time around Aries specifically, even more than us girls." Capricorn eyed Aquarius. Aquarius was chuckling as Aries was being dramatic, probably just trying to make her laugh. "Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice that." Capricorn and I glanced at each other then back at Aries and Aquarius. "Something is going on between them." Capricorn raised her eyebrow. I observed them again. "I think your right." I agreed with Capricorn, she was logical, and it wasn't like her to lie. Then it clicked.

"What if," I started. "What if Aquarius and Aries.." Capricorn turned to face me. "You don't think," She looked back to Aquarius and Aries. The two were laughing and Aquarius had a look on her face that made me certain my theory was correct. She hugged Aries and he hugged her back?! "Okay, I am definitely right." I faced Capricorn. She nodded. "Yeah, I believe that, but you can't know for sure." Capricorn made a valid point. "Then I'll go question Aquarius about my suspicion." I huffed, narrowing my eyes. I walked up to Aquarius and Aries. I cleared my throat. "Aquarius?" She turned to face me. "Yeah? Is there something you need Scorpio?" Aquarius blinked. I saw her shiver slightly. Strange... "I do, come with me." I turned and signaled for Aquarius to follow. She looked to Aries and his eyes went to me. He had a small smile on his face. Aquarius nodded to him and she came beside me, as I started walking towards a corner.

"So, why are we in a corner? And what do you need?" Aquarius had a curious expression yet, I saw her shivering. I thought nothing of it though. I took a deep breath as she blinked.

"Are you and Aries dating?"

I narrowed my eyes. I saw her face turn completely red as she had a shocked expression on her face. "W-what?! Me and A-Aries?! N-no!" She covered her face, clearly embarrassed. "Hmm, perhaps I jumped to conclusions after all..." I mumbled to myself. "Yeah! You did! We're not d-dating! We're just friends.." Aquarius crossed her arms as she leaned against the wall, her face still red. Aquarius looked down, clearly annoyed that I had jumped to conclusions. She crossed her arms as her expression went from annoyed and shocked to nervous and even sad.

"What's wrong?" I spoke up. She looked up, uncrossing her arms. "What do you mean?" Her ears flicked a bit. "You look sad." I backed up a bit to give her space. "Well, I'm not.." She crossed her arms again. "Are you sure?" I questioned her again, narrowing my eyes. Aquarius sighed. "Fine! If I tell you will you leave me alone? And you can't tell another soul!" Aquarius glared at me, her face turning red again, but not like before. I nodded slowly. "Sure, I'm good at keeping secrets, but you should already know that. What is it?" She looked down then looked around, probably to make sure nobody was around. "I-I have-ugh! Why is this so hard?!" She started acting dramatic and weird. "Just say it. It's not hard." I crossed my arms. "You don't know the half of it Scorpio, shut up!" She glared at me again and leaned against the wall. Just then, the bell for 3rd Period rang. "I like Aries alright! But don't you dare tell him that!" Aquarius stormed off in a rush to get to her class. I blinked as she left. Aries looked confused, that makes sense though, she did just storm off right past him. Well, I actually didn't know about this. She must've hid it well.

Whatever, I'll keep her secret, she seemed like she hadn't told anybody before. Might as well get to class.

I am sooo sorry this took so long to come out!!!! I have school and I've been trying to juggle this and school plus my life. Sorry again guys! Hope you like thing chapter though! I'll go work on the next one rn. Cya!!
