Liz

Maybe this blind date might not be a waste, who knows maybe I might like him. I kept staring at my watch and he is twenty minutes late. Looks like I got stood up. Screw it. I don't think I like him at all. I can never have something good, it's like the universe has a grudge with me. Come on universe cut me some slack, let me enjoy a life a little bit.

But saying here longer it's not going to be enjoyable, I'm leaving. It's a shame I spent so much time on make up and clothes, well there's no regrets. Better luck in the future I hope. If I ever see this guy, I'll make sure he regrets coming out of his mother's womb. He's probably so ugly that he didn't have the confidence to come here tonight or he is too broke to pay for one dinner. He is probably pathetic.

"Elizabeth?" Whoever spoke right now, I don't want to see them cause then they'll know I've been stood up. My pride has taken a lot of blow lately it can not take more. "Hi, I'm Jim." The person spoke. So the pathetic man is here.

I lifted my head to look at the one I'm going to make regret he is breathing but I was stunned. Now this man might have been late, but he was someone straightout of the covers of the magazines. He had dark hair and a piercing gaze that pulled you to him.

He extended his hand in greeting but I was lost staring at his face forgetting about his hand. His eyes went to his hanging hand and that's when I came back. "Oh, I'm Elizabeth, but I guess you already knew that." I took his hand and smiled. Whose the pathetic one know Liz, I thought you will make him regret that he is late.

He sat infront of me and called fot the waiter. "We would like to look at the menus first." He told the waiter, the waiter nodded at left to get them. "Pardon me for my rudeness. Due to a small accident on the road I wasn't able to come earlier."

He apologized, now that's nice. "To be honest I thought I was stood up and was about to leave."

"I'm glad you didn't leave. Cause I would regret not seeing this face and sharing a drink with you." He said that and flashed his charming smile. That was smooth but it going to take a lot more than that for.

The rest of the date went smoothly, the food was great, he was respectful and good looking, but it didn't click to me. Maybe all this 'click' thing is something I've made up in my mind. Maybe Bella is right It's time I let go.

We left the restaurant both laughing. The night went well. "Thank you for tonight, Jim."

"I was thinking of drinking a little bit at the bar across, it would be a shame if I went alone. Don't you think so?" I noticed another thing about him and that is that he was a smooth talker.

"Well I can't let you drink alone and have you talk to others that I was a bad date, can I know? It's going to ruin my reputation." He took my arm and laughed at me joke.

"Well I might rant out to other, that you caught my interest with that beauty of yours." This man knew how to woo womens but even though he still didn't click to me. Come on Liz you said you'd let go. That's right.

We entered the bad and the music was loud it made my ears hurt, I better drink a few and leave.

"Order our drink while I go to the restrooms real quick." I yelled at his ear and left once he nodded in agreement.

After few minutes I was back and the drinks were ready. I took a sip of my drink and it tasted differently. Weird! I always order this one maybe this place doesn't know how mix the ingredients well. I shrugged it off and continued talking with Jim.

A text came from Bella. 'How is the dating going, is he treating you well or should I ready the shovel and find the place for the body.'

I laughed at her text and replied. Assuring her that everything was well. I was about to tell her that I'll be home soon but my phone shut down looks like I was out of battery.

"Who was that?" Jim asked.

"That was my roommate Bella."

"The one that set us up?"

I nodded. "Don't you know Bella?"

"Not really but a friend of mine is really close with her." Damn I thought Bella knew him personally, that's why I accepted this date in the first place. She usually hangs out with good people. Well anyway he doesn't seem bad.

I took another sip of my drink, I was halfway done when it hit me. No matter how bad you are at mixing ingredients there's no way the drink with taste this way. The became signs were clear. How could I be so dumb.

Okay Liz. Stay calm and think. Slowly get out of here, make an excuse. "Ouch!"

"What's wrong?" He asked. I was holding my tummy with my hands and yelling like I was in pain.

"My stomach. Ouch! I think I need to go to the restroom." I said and took my purse.

"I'll come with you." He stood up, insisting.

"No!" I said too quickly. He raised and eyebrow fuck he is going to suspect that I'll leave. "I'm already embarrassed enough, please don't make this harder for me." Luckily he sat down.

Go Liz. Sneakily I made it oustide with own legs. Damn I'm screwed I could feel that whatever that thing was, it was pretty damn strong. Quickly I pushed two fingers down my throat making myself throw up. But it wasn't much effective, it seemed the drug was starting to take actions.

"There you are!" Fuck! I need to run. "I thought you went to the restroom." He took my forearm in tight hold.

"I did. I just stepped outside a little bit for a clear air." He smiled.

"You think I'm dumb Liz. I'm not you. Now move!" He said and started dragging me.

"Let me go you fucker before I kill you." But he ignored me.

"I'm impressed that durg was way too strong after two sips you should have been out for days."

"The fuck you want from me you fucker?" He stopped and looked at me.

"I don't want you, I want money. And do you know how much people will be willing to pay for your body and your face." He said and continued to dragged me.

He was taking me to his car. I must never get in there. But my body was weak and my consciousness was slowly fading. I was fighting his grip but no luck.

That's when I used a different approach. I wasn't fighting anymore I let myself go and my knees buckled. I closed my eyes and leveled my breathing. He let me go and I hit the ground.

"Looks like even you are weak against it." He said and took me in his arms, carrying me.

Fool. I sheathed my claws and with one hand clawed at his face while I dug the other in my knee. While feeling pain my conscience won't slip away.

"You bitch!" He yelled holding his face. I didn't wait for him to recover, I jumped on him with all the strength I had left. In second he was on the ground and I had his hand ready to break it.

"You are going to pay." I said to him.

"Let me go you bit—" he didn't get to finish his sentence I broke his arm and the other and his leg. He was screaming in pain.

I called the police with his phone and after an hour in the police station I was wrecked. I needed to go home but Bella would freak out if she saw me in this state. Not only that but I was a minute away from a break down.

"Miss would you like us to take you home." One of the police officers asked and I accepted.

And here I was infront of his house. I rang the door bell. I don't know why I came here and a part of me was hoping he is not home but the other was hoping he'd be here.

I waited a few minutes no answer. I sat down there and I couldn't hold it anymore. The tears came out like a river. Tonight reminded me of my past that follows me everywhere I go. I'm cursed.

I was sobbing when the door opened. "Lizzie?" I looked at his eyes and I heard that voice. "Mate!"
