In this story Sirius and Remus are in fact dating. But before we get to far into that the twins are going into their second year so they are 13. After James and Lily had died Sirius was given a trial. The trial lasted a few days and while he was being given a trial the twins and Harry were placed under the care of Minerva McGonagall until he was proven innocent. After he was proven innocent they captured Peter Pettigrew and had thrown him into Azkaban.
Now what if every year while Harry was at Hogwarts the professors weren't trying to kill him and every year Remus was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Read this story and all of these will be answered it will be a better life for Harry Potter the chosen one.
