Hello!
This is my first time writing in a while, and I want to warn you in advance—updating likely won't be consistent. I have multiple APs, play two sports, an instrument, hold positions in and run a couple clubs, and I enjoy occasional downtime.
That said, I'm really looking forward to writing this and I hope you enjoy.
Now, I know the project I'm going for is ambitious and has a lot going on, so I want to clarify some things beforehand!
- All character stories are the same as cannon to an extent—any differences will be made clear (see blurb as an example)
- All Characters are the same age—that means Anya is aged up and Kirito is aged down to 15-16.
- HPA is a 3-year high school (soph-sen)
- Most stories being cannon is going to seem confusing. The best part of the danganronpa setting is that I can do zero world-building. Just don't think about it.
- Lots of characters from different shows—you don't need to know all the shows to enjoy the story. Basic backgrounds will be given*, extra info can be looked up, and I will gladly answer any questions
- this is written with the assumption that you know the basic setup of Danganronpa vi's conflict! If you don't, it's fine. It'll be told in the fic and it's pretty self-explanatory.
- characters may be ooc at times, but I'll do my best to keep personalities like cannon—there's a lot of personalities to keep up with.
- all characters -monokuma are listed under "main characters," along with the show they are from and their ultimate talent.
- (10.02.22) Character profiles will not be filled out equally for the majority of the time. This is because I'm following the pattern in the Trigger Happy Havoc game where profiles are updated individually as the protagonist (and you) learned about each of the characters.
- (10.02.22) Cover has been added! I believe the artist is called Yusu Asu or Yusuasu, but I couldn't track all the way the way back the original artist.
+ Additional notes may be added as the story progresses—they will be added here, but they will be marked off and a note will be left at the end of the most recent chapter to let you know this has been edited
*elements from the game such as the maps, collected items, and student profiles. Profiles will be present both as plot items and as reminders for you (and me). They will appear where appropriate in the story, and there will also be a chapter dedicated to them for easy access. Profiles will be updated as the story progresses.
