"oh my god!" i turn off my phone, sprinting to my closet. pulling out a simple black bikini, i rush to the bathroom to put it on, putting a simple shirt and shorts over it.
i walk into liv's car, ducking my head under and sitting in the passenger seat. thanks for the early notice," i say, laughing. "you're welcome," liv responds, pecking my cheek, her von dutch hat also hitting me."where's this at?" i ask as liv reverses from my driveway. "at madison's house, her parents are in hawaii," she responds. "she's doing this secretly?" "oh no, her parents influenced her to throw a party, actually." "like ben's parents did in never have i ever?" i say, laughing. "exactly! team ben or paxton?" "paxton." "okay good, me too," liv responds, smiling at me.
we arrive at madison's house, the nerves starting to kick in. "you'll be okay, stick to my side all day if you need to," liv notices the nervousness in my body. i nod, and liv knocks on the door.
katarina, laroi, olivia and i walk into the backyard, waiting for everyone else to get changed. i put my towel on a chair, liv putting hers over mine and katarina and laroi putting their's on a separate chair. "it's funny how it was almost logic to wear a bathing suit underneath the clothes," katarina says, sitting on the patio seat next to laroi. i sit on the end of the table, "i know right," i agree. liv walks over, sitting on top of me. "you good?" i ask, laughing. "i'm good," she responds, smiling.
olivia picks up her phone from the table, tapping on tiktok. she scrolls through them, both of us occasionally laughing at the funny ones. getting distracted by an airdrop coming in from karina, we both look at her. "well? accept it," she says. i look back down to liv's phone, and she accepts it. i instantly smile, looking at the picture of us. "this is so cute!" liv says, laughing. she looks up at me, "can i post it?" "yeah, 'course."

finally, everyone comes out of the house. olivia stands up from on top of me, stretching after she puts her phone down. i stand up too, getting used to the feeling of liv not sitting on top of me.
i pick up my phone, going onto instagram. getting already thousands of follow requests, i was thankful i put my account on private a few weeks ago.
i stand by the side of the pool, watching the water flow. i feel the familiar tingle on my spine, and i quickly dodge to the side, sending olivia flying into the water.
everyone laughs, and olivia swims up with a gasp, swiping her face. i grin at her, laughing along. "how'd you know she was there?" conan asks in between laughs. "saw her in the reflection," i lie, liv swimming up to us. "that really hurt!" she exclaims. "shouldn't have tried to pull me in," i shrug, smiling at her. before i can react, olivia's hand grips my ankle, pulling me in.
i splash head first into the water, pushing myself back up. i hear laughter, and i can't help but join in. "good one," i say to liv, who was smiling proudly. everyone else jumps into the pool, and i face liv to cover myself, getting splashed on my back.
liv's arms wrap around my neck, my hands wrapping around her waist. "having fun?" she asks. i nod, smiling. "okay good, now hold your breath." barely just finishing her sentence, she pulls us to the side, falling into the water once more.
olivia pulls me back up, and i wipe my face. "i think you got water in my ear," i say, tilting my head to the side and shaking my head, "and water in my lungs." olivia laughs, moving closer to me. i move back, shaking my head. "i won't do it anymore! i promise." i reluctantly move forward, olivia's hands going to my shoulders. she leans forward, lips almost touching my ear. "you'll survive, spider-woman."
i chuckle, and liv moves back again, smiling at me. "hey lovebirds! come join!" gracie yells at us. we turn around, and liv's hands fall down. we swim to them, getting informed that they're racing.
conan clears his throat, "so, we'll go one verse one, winner verse winner of each group." we agree, and laroi and his girlfriend go to one side of the pool, getting out and standing on the edge of the pool. we all stand on the side, and i swish my hands side to side, gently moving the water. "three, two, one, go!" madison counts down. and with that, laroi and katarina dive into the pool.
first round laroi won, second round conan and madison raced with madison winning, iris and gracie raced with gracie winning. it was now olivia and i's turn to race. i get out of the water first, reaching down to pul olivia up. "okay, ready?" we nod, my body shaking slightly from the cold wind. "ready, set, go!" laroi yells. i put my hands in front of me, pushing my legs off the pool. diving practically perfectly, i start to swim to the other side.
i reach the end, holding myself up with the ledge. olivia touches the ledge seconds later, looking at me. "i won," i say, laughing. "ugh!" she groans, leaning her head back. "don't worry, maybe next time," i tease, patting her shoulder.
i stand on the ledge of the pool again, versing laroi. "now whoever wins, will win..." conan struggles to think, "bragging rights!" we all laugh. laroi turns to me, hand out. i shake it, getting ready. "three, two, one!" i dive into the pool hands first, swimming as fast as i can to the other side.
i laugh as laroi reaches the pool ledge around 4 seconds before i do, running his hand through his wet hair. "god, you won by a lot!" he says, laughing. "could've taken a nap by the time you reached the end," i joke, laughing too. we shake hands, making our way back to everyone else.
we leave the pool, going to our towels. i pick up olivia's first, waiting for her to walk over. i put the towel behind her, wrapping it around her. "thank you," she thanks. "no problem," i respond, picking up my towel and wrapping it around my body. "anyone down for pizza down the road?"
