Cameron followed the paramedics who attended to James who had been put up onto a stretcher. Several others were being tended to but James was in the worst condition out of them all. The paramedics believed it was rat poison that had been snuck into the drinks and that made him sick to his stomach. Outside the house, several police cars were on the scene and the party was officially shut down the attendees were told to go on home and go somewhere safe, word got around that multiple bodies had been discovered on the same stretch of road on the other side of town.
Jeremy pushed his way through the crowd towards Cameron who was shocked and trying to process everything.
"Man, are you okay?" Jeremy asked as he placed both hands on Cameron's shoulders to keep him still.
"Shit" Cameron said to himself. "Jeremy, how long have you been here?" He asked.
"I got here maybe an hour or two ago," Jeremy said with a sly smirk. "What happened to James?"
"Somebody spiked the drinks," Cameron replied.
"No shit," Jeremy laughed. "I only wish I'd been down there to see it."
"What the hell is wrong with you Jeremy?!" Cameron was getting pissed, he squeezed Jeremy's arms tightly and tried to get him to let go but Jeremy held tight.
"Hey" Jeremy laughed again. "I'm only teasing".
"Did you see anybody wearing a fucking Ghostface mask?" Cameron asked as he pushed back, an annoyed look still present on his face.
"I saw a few people wearing it but that was before anything went down," said Jeremy. "James will be okay".
"Yeah...I hope so..." Cameron sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
Jeremy replied. "No, I didn't. I guess the party is being shut down now. We should probably get out of here".
The two of them started to walk back to the house.
"Cameron, are you okay?" Jeremy asked him, his slightly slurred voice still filled with so much cheer.
"Yeah, yeah" Cameron nodded as he walked on.
They went back to the house and gathered their things. Oliver came up to them with a worried look then looked at Jeremy and smiled softly before he turned and looked at Cameron again.
"They've found so many dead bodies...look, let's regroup at mine. I'm going to see where Jamie is and see if he wants to come to mine so we can all be together" Oliver explained. "Jeremy, do you want to come?"
Jeremy perked up and smirked. "Yeah of course".
"Okay then, we should leave soon," Oliver nodded.
Jeremy followed Cameron and Oliver down across the yard and through the crowds, red and blue flashing lights filled the street. More and more cars were arriving to collect their kids. As they walked Jeremy thought about how he didn't get to use his voice changer, when he fell behind he pulled it from his pocket and chucked it into the bushes as they went past. He looked between the two and decided how he was going to kill them.
He grinned to himself and marched on with his plan in mind.
Jeremy thought about how easily he could smash Cameron's skull in until he was unrecognisable, but he wanted to have fun. He wanted to make them suffer. He grinned at the thought of how they would feel knowing that they were going to die. Cameron would scream, Oliver would beg, and Cameron's friends would beg for their lives. They would pray to Jesus to save them, but they would die. Jeremy loved the thought of them crying out to him, he loved the idea that they would look at him in fear. He envisioned their faces as he crushed their skulls in, their blood pouring out onto the ground beneath their feet, and how they would beg for him to stop, but he wouldn't.
Jeremy grinned to himself as they walked, he couldn't wait.
"My place isn't too far from here," Oliver said as he pulled his phone out.
Jeremy watched him unlock it before it suddenly rang, he sighed and answered it.
"Hello?"
Jeremy tried to listen to the person on the other end but couldn't hear anything.
"Jesus Christ. At the party?" He looked at the others. "Are you sure?"
He gasped and then ended the call.
"They found a body at the party in the upstairs bathroom," Oliver said. "The killer was at the fucking party!"
Jeremy had to act shocked. "What? Are you sure?"
"This is so fucked. Come on, let's go" Cameron said as they hurried off. Completely unaware that the killer was with them plotting his next move silently behind them.
