Rain overflowed the dark and empty streets of the city. Droplets dripped from the lightposts, which gave off a weak light. A bolt of lightning would often strike down from out of the clouds. Sometimes it would only take a second or two before the sound of thunder came, sometimes it would take way longer.

There was one man walking on the street.

His skin, hair and clothes were totally wet. He had been walking around in the rain for a while now. He didn't bother going home. There would be no one there anyway.

The man's name was Czechia. He was like a few others in the world, with a huge population, a country. Normal people didn't really like the countryhumans.

Czechia's flag was similar to his best friend's, Poland, who had a white and red flag. Czechia wore an eyepatch on his right eye to hide his scar. It would also keep his and Poland's flags apart, so win-win, right? No.

Czechia didn't like to have to hide his eye. But he didn't want to show it either. A lot of people thought he was badly injured, even though the scar was from a few years ago, so it didn't hurt anymore.

Czechia just wanted people to leave him alone, but nope. If they didn't came to check if he was alright, they came to make his life a living hell. As if it wasn't already.

Czechia started to care less and less about his health. He went to the bar almost every day. It concerned his twin brother, Slovakia. His brother didn't live with him in the same house, but they would often have contact through messaging or calling, they rarely visit eachother. But not only his brother was concerned, his boyfriend was as well. Czechia's boyfriend was Serbia, a taller male, who first hated him, but somehow got feelings for the Czech. He would often visit Czechia to help him clean his house. It made Czechia feel a bit better, he loved his boyfriend.

But things had changed. Czechia started to care less and less about his boyfriend as he drank more and more alcohol. Serbia also started to turn tables as he would often ignore or be harsh to Czechia. Maybe he was experiencing a bad time, or maybe he was just hating Czechia again.

Czechia continued to walk through the empty, dark and lonely streets, when he got a message. He took out his phone, he had received a message from Serbia. 'Huh, I wonder what he wants', Czechia thought to himself. He opened Serbia's message, reading it with care, over and over again, making sure he wasn't reading it wrong.

"Czechia, I wanna break up"

Czechia wasn't very shocked, since both the males have been ignoring each other for quite a while now. Yet, Czechia felt even lonelier now Serbia wanted to break up. He didn't really feel like having a complicated conversation right now, so instead of that he sent a simple 'fine' back.

"Czechia, I wanna break up"

"Fine"

"Bitch"

'Damn, this guy acts like a five year old or something', Czechia thought.

As Czechia continued to walk, he got another message. 'Damn it Serbia, leave me alone already', Czechia thought as he unlocked his phone and viewed the message sent to him. He was surprised to see that Slovakia sent him a message.

"Hey brother! I just wanted to make sure you are alright. I didn't hear anything from you in a while, so please send me a message when you read this. I'm doing good by the way, I moved in with Ukraine lately, he helped me packing everything I need, I would've forgotten my phone if he wouldn't have helped me haha"

"Anyways please send me a message soon!"

Czechia smiled when he read his brother's message. He started to type something back, so his brother wouldn't think he was ignoring him.

"I'm okay, Kia. Good to hear your boyfriend is kind to you"

"...He's just a friend Czechia"

"Sure, bro"

"Czechia!"

"Hah"

Czechia liked teasing his brother. A lot. He did it on a daily basis. Well, before Slovakia stopped messaging him, then.

Czechia continued walking. He wasn't going anywhere. He was just going for a "small" walk.

After a while, Czechia arrived at his house again. He realised he had walked in a circle. A big circle. He sighed and grabbed his keys from out of his pocket. He walked up the small stairs in front of his house and walked to the front door. He unlocked it and got inside. He was completely wet, so he went upstairs to take a shower.

Once he got in the bathroom, he pulled the shower curtains back and he let the water flow so it could get hot. He took his phone from out of his pocket and put in on the sink. He looked at himself in the mirror for a good 2 minutes. He often questioned his life while doing so. He then turned back to the shower, pulled out his clothes and dropped them in the laundry basket. He stepped into the shower and closed the curtains.

After a good 10 minutes of showering, Czechia got out. He took his towel and dried himself up. After that, he walked to his room and changed into some clean clothes.

Czechia dropped himself on his bed. His entire room was dark, except for a bit of moonlight shining through the closed curtains. Czechia didn't know how long it has been that he had finally let some sunshine into his room again. He was pretty sure there were entire new unknown ecosystems growing inside of his room, as he didn't clean it for a while as either. But he didn't really care.

He just wanted the outside world to leave him alone.
