I was working in my office, sorting my papers and marking which ones are good and which ones are just not worth it.

Everything went well.

It was calm, quiet, relaxing.

I put half of the papers in a well organized map. Paper after paper.
It felt like my eyes went heavier.

I ducked my head into the palm of my hand. Sighing. Dragging the hand through my hair before hiding in the palm of them again.

CRASH!

The sound startled me and my papers fell to the floor.
"Fuck!" I shouted out. Mumbled cursed slipped out of my mouth like spit.

The papers where an mess!

Wait, the boys—
Oh shit.
-
They were planning on making dinner.

Tommy was setting the table, wilbur was cutting the vegetables and Techno was making the mashed potatoes.

And everything was going well.

Phil was in his office, which was good. Because that meant he wouldn't be able to hear or see the mess they where making.

Or so they thought.

Because Tommy was walking with the plate that had vegetables, and he dropped it.

There is no way to describe it. It just fell. Shattered in a million of pieces.

They heard a slam from Phil's office and some curses.
Fuck.

"W—Wilbur?" Tommy's voice shook.
His tone was in a whisper.

Techno hurried to Tommy's side. "Tommy," the blonde breath hitched. "Tommy! Tommy," the blond snapped his head up.
"Tommy, listen. We will clean this up, we will explain to him what happened and then it'll be okay."

"I'm so sorry." Tommy whispered out.

Techno looked at Wilbur for help. And the brunette stepped in.
"Toms, it's okay. I promise you we will protect you, okay?"

The youngest nodded his head.

And if the time wouldn't be more perfect, they heard steps and a door open. Phil was making his way towards the kitchen.
Towards them.

Double fuck.

"Boys?" Phil called out. His voice was a bit strained. Probably from the cursing, or tiredness. Who knows?

The three teens froze in their place. Unable to move. It was like they where glued to the floor.

Phil walked up to them silently, he eyed the plate on the floor. The three boys winced. He looked up at them again.

"What happen here?" Phil asked. His voice was calm.

"I'm so, sorry, Phil. I— i accidentally dropped the plate and—" Tommy begun to ramble.

"No. No, it was my fault i wasn't looking and i walked into him!" Wilbur interrupted, his voice just as shaky as his brother's.

"Sir, please don't listen to them. It was my fault. Im so sorry. I should've been more careful." Techno gasped out. Phil was how the pinkette moved like every step was like walking on spikes. "Please don't punish them. They had nothing to do with this!" The teen continued.

Phil's heart clenched with pain as the three brothers tried to protect each other. Protect each other from him.
The man had a soft spot from them. But it was hard. It was so hard.

He wanted to wrap them into a hug. Cling to them and reassure them that everything would be okay.
But that would probably scare them more.

They continued to ramble over each other. Pushing Phil's patience down.
