Poland and Czechia were sitting next to each other on the couch in complete silence. Neither of them knew what to say. Czechia felt a bit awkward, but he knew this was his fault, it always was.
"I'm sorry", he said, staring to the ground. "I'm sorry that you... had to... see that." Poland looked at his best friend, who was overwhelmed with guilt.
"I told you it's okay", Poland said. He got closer to his friend. He put an arm around his shoulders. "It'll be okay."
Czechia looked up, facing Poland straight in the eyes. They stared at each other for a few minutes before pulling eachother in another hug. Czechia started to sob again.
After a while of Czechia crying and sobbing and Poland trying to comfort him, Czechia looked up at Poland again. "T-thanks for being h-here for m-me", he said as he formed a smile on his face. Poland smiled back in concern, hoping the Czech would be alright now. Czechia wiped his tears and let go of his friend. "I really appreciate your... support..." Czechia weakly said, standing up from the couch. "I'm just gonna get some water... do you want anything to drink?" Poland looked at Czechia, who looked like nothing happened at all. It didn't even look like he had been crying. "I'd like some water as well", Poland said, still feeling concerned about Czechia and his health. Czechia nodded and went to the kitchen, grabbing two glasses and filling them with water. His arms ached and the longer he hold the glasses, the weaker his arms became. He quickly went back to the living room, placing a glass of water on the table in front of Poland, and one on the table for himself. Poland smiled and thanked Czechia, who returned a weak "no problem".
Czechia turned on the tv to avoid further silence. Poland took a sip of his water. He saw his friend struggled with picking up the glass since his arms were weak because of the fresh scars. Poland helped him to get the glass, Czechia managed to get a hold on it and quickly taking a sip and putting the glass back down. "T-thanks", Czechia said, smiling weakly. Poland flashed a smile back. "No problem", he said, a lot more confident then Czechia.
They watched tv until it was evening. "We should probably get something to eat, don't you think?" Poland asked his friend. "Uh. I guess", Czechia mumbled. "I still need to go to the store though." Poland nodded. "I'll go with you, don't worry", he smiled. Czechia looked his best friend in his eyes and smiled. He nodded and stood up, so did Poland, and they got ready to get to the store.
"What do you want to eat?" Czechia asked as the two made their way to the store. "Uhm. I don't know. You choose", Poland answered. "I asked you", Czechia said, and they kept discussing about who chose what to eat.
When they finally arrived at the store, they had already agreed on what to eat. They gathered the groceries and were about to pay for them until someone stopped them.
"Hey Czechia! How have you been doing? You haven't been starving yourself, right??" Both Czechia and Poland turned around to see Slovakia and Ukraine. 'Starving yourself?' Poland thought. "Oh. Hey Kia. I've been doing... like usual. How is your relationship going?" Czechia asked, plastering a nervous smile on his face. "Our relationship is going just fine", Slovakia said as he smiled. Ukraine kissed Slovakia on his head, making Slovakia giggle softly.
Poland was kinda jealous because of Ukraine and Slovakia. Poland wanted to be able to kiss Czechia, to hold him, to help him when he needs it, but he was too scared to tell him his true feelings about his best friend.
"Kia, we're gonna be late", Ukraine said, looking at the time on his phone. "Oh, you're right. Bye Czechia, bye Poland", Slovakia said as he and Ukraine rushed out of the store. Czechia was happy to see his brother again.
Poland felt something in his throat. "Czechia?" "Yes?" "Can we go home quickly? I need to check something." "Oh uh. Okay sure." Czechia and Poland payed for their groceries and left the store, making their way back to Czechia's house.
When they arrived, Poland helped Czechia to put the groceries at the right place. Meanwhile, Poland felt the thing in his throat growing a bit bigger. He went upstairs to the bathroom to look if he could see anything in his mouth/throat, but he didn't see anything.
Then, in all the sudden, Poland felt like he had to vomit. He vomitted in the sink, blood and petals coming out of his mouth. It hurt pretty bad. 'What the...' Poland was confused, he didn't know what was going on. He heard a few knocks on the door of the bathroom. "Poland? Are you okay?"
