Graces POV:

After a good thirty minutes Dr Harrington had finished with the check up.                                                                              "So, Grace what happened?" Dr Harrington started.                                                "Well it's this simple, I fell down the stairs." Not wanting to tell him so I said the first thing that came to mind.                                                                              "Why did Andy find you on the middle of the road?"                                                       "Well, my friend Carolyn is a nurse and I saw that my arm was broken so I was heading to her house so she could bandage it properly and on my way I must of tripped on a rock or something and hit my head."

Andrews POV:

"Andrew can I talk to you for a minute outside?" the doctor said with sadness in his voice         "Yeah sure, will you be alright Grace?"               "Yeah I'll be fine." After her reply I smiled slightly and walked out knowing it was bad news. As Dr Harrington and I walked out to the kitchen he started talking with so much pain in his voice.                                     "Andy, I'm afraid it's bad news. Firstly I think we both know that she has had a bad life, she wouldn't have injured herself that badly from falling down the stairs and just tripping over a rock and by the looks of things she has a broken rib, arm and leg and I need to take her in for further testing." I felt my eyes water and trickle down my face as much as I could.        "Okay, thank you doctor," and put out my hand which he took. We walked back to Grace, both of us with our heads down not wanting to deliver the bad news.

Graces POV:

Andrew and Dr Harrington came back in. Andrews's eyes were red and puffy notifying he had been crying.           "I'm going to be fine aren't I?" I half yelled to them both as they looked painfully at each other and back at me. Then Andrew stumbled toward me.                  "Um... Grace... its bad news... you have a broken rib, arm and leg, and Dr Harrington needs to take you in for further testing." My eyes started to water.   "NO, I'm gonna be fine here."                                                                                                   "Grace, I'm sure you'll be fine, but given the circumstances we need to do further testing." "Fine, I'll go." Although I didn't want to go I agreed. I just don't want to explain how everything ACTUALLY happened, although my father might end up going to jail. Which means he won't be able to touch me again.

Andrews POV:

Grace seemed like she didn't want to go to the hospital. I guess it's because she doesn't want to explain what actually happened, but I guess she'll have to now.
