"I hate that i'm in my nightgown, its so embarrassing, i wish i came in proper clothes like you" Peter suddenly started to laugh, shoving him i asked " What are you laughing about" looking at his face i couldn't help but slightly chuckle "I-i don't know, well i guess it is pretty embarrassing, a-and i guess if i saw you in the distance i would burst out laughing" offended i shoved him again "hey i know it's embarrassing, you don't have to rub it in my face, you have offended me Peter Pevensie good riddance" I said trying my best to hide my smile "Wait wait, ok i'm sorry, i might of went a bit too far" he said also trying to contain his laughter.
It only took one look at each other to completely break down and laugh. After calming down, we continued our round of questions "so where do you all live?" I asked "we live in Finchley, but because of the war we all had to go to live in the countryside with this rich professor." "Wait, war? What war?" I again asked confused. Peter looked at me also confused and as if i was delusional "the second world war, the nazis attacking Poland and then the war broke out, don't you know?" At this time i was extremely confused "Nazis? what are nazis?" Peter did a weird face almost as if he thinks i'm joking "Do you live in the 1800s or what?, the Nazis are germans lead by Adolf Hitler who thinks that the germans are superior to everyone else and is trying to take over, our father is out in the war along with other countries trying to stop it." He said the first part as in a joke but for me it wasn't I do live in the 1800s when on earth is he supposed to live in "for your information i live in the year 1840, so i have no absolutely idea what your talking about." Peter suddenly stopped in his tracks. What on earth has gotten into him "what? what is wrong? your scaring me Peter." he finally spoke but i kind of wish he hadn't.
"So your telling me that you live in 1840, b-but that's impossible." i just laughed out, he was acting so weird it was creepy "it's not impossible i turned 16 on the 7th of January in 1840, i was born in 1824 and as far as i know i haven't had a birthday since. So Peter please do tell me how is that impossible?" at this rate i might just start calling him a madman. "You just don't get it do you? Ok let me use your example i am going to turn 16 on the 24th of October in 1940, which is the year i'm currently living in, which means i was born in the year 1924." hearing that i was honestly left aghasted. My head just really couldnt understand this completely.

"what? O-ok lets just say that that's true, does that mean i've been stuck here, stuck in that bloody river for a hundred years?! But that just doesn't make sense, none of it does." I tried to stay calm, but accidentally raised my voice making Lucy, Susan and the beavers to stop and look at us with confused faces, but the beavers looked more frustrated than confused. Peter was about to argue back but Mr beaver beat him to it "Look, whatever this is about, Aslan will explain everything, after all he knows everything involved with Narnia." he said in a rather harsh tone. Naturally Peter and I tried to ignore it and initiated our small talk again, although it was still running frantically around in my head.

"Well eh y-you never told me where your from." Peter said, i took a deep breath and told him "well i'm from London really, but me and my family have quite a big cottage in the countryside, eh right outside of Heathfield. The back door from the cottage leads to a big woods, i personally love going for walks in it, and i'm pretty good with the bow and arrow if i do say so myself, so i also go there to practice from time to time." i close my eyes and smile remembering all the good memories i had from over the summer "you must miss it a lot, i'm sorry you had to go through that." I look over at him with a reassuring smile to calm down his sad look and say "it's alright, i do miss it, but hey on the bright side if we find this Aslan i could be brought back to my time since he can take you to yours." after that Peter dropped his expression to a hopeful one
"yeah i'm sure of it." smiling at the sweet boy i was about to ask him how it was in their time, but the beaver couple stopped and Mr beaver spoke up "right, well this looks safe enough, let's make a camp fire and then we can rest." looking over at his wife "yes, how about you Peter dear and Mr beaver can go out to get some wood and we can stay for lookout or something, ok, come on then don't just stand there." Peter said his goodbyes and went off with the beaver to the wood.
