Chapter.12

I sigh well yelling for Ash till my throat goes dry. Dust and Blue came with me but it's obviously don't care and aren't looking for Ash, they won't even bother talking about him instead trying to make conversation on everything else.

"Hey Y/n if you could have any pet what would it be?" Dust asked well throwing some stick in the air before catching it again. I rolled my eyes "I don't know? I don't wanna think about that right now..Ash!!"

Dust huffed and grabbed my wrist "why are we looking for him? There's no point he's probably dead and its getting late...let's go" Dust tugged on my arm Blue yawned before agreeing being to tired to continue.

I pulled my arm away "if you want to go home go ahead Blue needs sleep anyways but I'm not leaving just yet, if I get tired I promise I'll head back home but I'm not tired"

Dust didn't like my answer at all "so what? You going to look for him till you find the rotting body? What's so special about him anyways? No one else cares to look for him! Why should you?" Blue started pulling Dusts sleeve "lets just go..." Another yawn escaped.

"I'm not allowed to look for my friend? I guess I'm not surprised because you don't have any to understand..." I went to keep walking but Dust grabbed me again.

"What are you doing? Let me go!" I try pulling away but his grip remained strong and I couldn't get away. Dust was silent beginning the walk home Blue was unable to do anything but follow.

I started screaming at him to let go of me until Dust spun around and slapped me across the face "SHUT UP" everything went silent Blue was shocked so was I well Dust remained silent with a glare stuck on his face.

It looks like Dust realized what he's done and was quick to apologize but the damage was done.

I forced my hand away and held Blues hand instead walking home without a word. He told me to shut up? Fine I won't speak to you "Y-Y/n please i didn't mean to!" Dust sped up to catch up to me and tried to hold my hand but I avoided his touch and picked Blue up to go faster.

"Y/n! Stop! Don't leave me" I turned to look at him. He was shaking eyes pitch black tears rolling down his cheekbones and he kept repeating something I couldn't understand.

Seeing him like this made me worried, he's almost never like this or at least this bad. He usually reacts similar to this when the topic of family come up specially siblings.

"Dust?...calm down its ok..." I gently put Blue down who looks just as worried as I am. Usually the only people who can calm him down from these is Nightmare or Dream but I'll need to try...

"Dust you need to relax...please" I slowly approached like he was a wild animal. He kept mumbling as I approached "it's ok...your ok" suddenly there was a snap. I had stepped on a stick and everything went silent as I look up to see his blank eyes towards me.

I've never been scared of Dust but his gaze sent a chill up my spine "i-ill call Dream" Blue snuck away to somewhere safer to call Dream leaving me with Dust.

"Dust? Can you tell me what's wrong?...I want to help you" I took a hesitant step forward "y...you were leaving..." Dust took a Shakey breath to relax slightly finally "I wasn't leaving you Dust, you could've came with me" I walked closer till I was right in front of him and watched his eye lights return and tears dry.

"Y-you weren't leaving me?..." I shook my head and wrapped my arms around him into a hug he returned the hug and it felt like hours of standing together till Dream interrupted it "Y/n! You shouldn't be doing that! He could hurt you!"

I sigh letting Dust go but unable to turn around since Dust won't let go "Dream it's fine I got him to calm down. Can we just go home?" Dream looks at Dust up and down before giving a nod "I can carry you if you'd like!" I shiver in discomfort "uhh no I think we can just use a short cut or whatever it is" Dust agrees and we all take a short cut.

Once we get home I got scolded for staying out so late and how unsafe it is for humans like me and as usual not listening to my 'excuses' when I try to explain and since Dust, Dream, and Blue went to bed they wouldn't believe me as frustrating as it was.

I ended up ignoring them before locking myself in my room. What a long day....I wonder why Dust freaked out like that just because I tried walking away...I guess I'll never know. I got into my favorite PJs and hopped into bed.

I'll find Ash eventually....right?
