My first year of college is finally done! It was one hell of an experience!
It's now my vacation and apparently, Dad decided to treat us to a week of vacation in Balesin Island. So I am here in my room, picking out some outfits to bring. Our flight will be the day after tomorrow, but I like to pack my things as early as now so I can see if may kulang pa.
I got myself pairs of bikinis. I happen to find a pink, red, and orange floral skirt that has a slit on the right side in my closet which I can use as a cover up. I also grabbed some pairs of shorts and a few sleeveless tops since it will be hot there. I also brought some summer dresses because you can never go wrong with a good summer dress. I also like the feeling of a flowy dress on my body.
Before I could forget, I also grabbed some shirts and pajamas and placed them all inside my luggage. It's big enough naman to hold all my things. I could even get some pasalubong because it can still fit.
I got my waterproof pouch para doon ko ilagay yung mga bathroom essentials ko. It's a tri-fold pouch that can hold so much stuff inside, and it has a garterized buckle para madaling isara. I already bought some travel size of my hair and body products para hindi na ako mahirapan pang dalhin yung mga nasa bathroom ko.
.....
After 2 years, I am finally back in Balesin. The crystal clear water always puts a smile on my face. The coconut trees swaying along the winds makes the place super refreshing.
But my ever favorite here are the restaurants and the food they offer. Whenever I am here, calories don't matter. I always eat my heart out here because the food here is just so freaking delicious!
As soon as we arrived in our villa, the fresh smell of flowers just welcomed my nostrils. I went to my room and unpacked my things. I looked at the window and saw how beautiful mother nature is. The water looks very inviting but I wanna sleep first since medyo nahilo ako sa flight papunta dito kanina.
I only took a quick nap because I felt my stomach grumbling when I suddenly woke up. I received a text from Dad that they are in Toscana village in an Italian restaurant there, eating lunch and I should go there as soon as I wake up.
So I got up and fixed the wrinkles of my spaghetti strap floral maxi dress and got my crocheted cream tote bag to hold my sunglasses case, phone, sunscreen, and my other stuff.
I let my mid-length straight hair down and I applied some sunscreen before leaving the villa and wore my sunglasses.
I rode a jeepney that goes around the island on my way there.
I immediately spotted them eating. Tita Lyn saw me so she raised her hand to call me. I am so hungry already kaya pumunta na ako doon.
They ordered Linguine pasta with pesto sauce, Toscana pizza, Quattro Formaggi pizza, Insalata di Monica which is a salad, and certified Angus rib eye with porcini mushroom cream sauce.
"Kain ka na," Dad said as soon as I sat down. Yung pizza ang una kong kinuha kasi yon talaga ang paborito ko. I can literally eat it every single day. Lately, I've been exploring some pizza places with Daphne and Kuya Luis. We're food critics wannabe.
