Henrietta Luella Van Doren is the precious daughter of the Pope. She was sheltered and never stepped foot outside of the mansion that her father built for her.
Her mother was of unknown origin. Although everyone has never gotten a glimpse of her, they knew that Henrietta's mother is of remarkable beauty, because it appears Henrietta has taken her appearance from her mother and not the pope.
Thus, a barren land was discovered at the border of the Vatican, it is a land in between the border of Karriel, the land of the rumored Barbarians.
Now that the pope has set his eyes on the barren land, he will get it no matter what. But the land has been a place that the Barbarians frequented, it'll be difficult to claim the land if that was the case.
So, in order to get the land without going through war, he ordered his only child, and daughter to marry the Emperor of Karriel.

"My Lady..."
A woman with a unique color of silver hair and eyes, turns her head away from the mirror and looked at the maid that had just arrived.
"The pope has called for you in the dining room."
Henrietta nodded her head and looked back at her reflection in the mirror. As always, her eyes are lifeless and her silver hair looks dull for her, however, she cannot change it no matter how much she wanted to get rid of it can she?
She hated the fact that she is the spitting image of her mother... For Henrietta, her mother was the one who made her life miserable by abandoning her and leaving her in the Pope's care.
With one last glance, she stood up and walked out of her room to see the Pope. As she walks the long dull corridor of the Temple, Henrietta thought about what it looked like to roam around outside of the mansion she was living in.
