At the age of 4 this is all Bakugo Katsuki knew. There wasn't a moment in his memory where he wasn't told to 'do better' or 'try harder' by his mother. Even at the young age of 12 Katsuki was very self conscious of everything he did. Every step he took, every breath, even everything he ate was being watched and monitoredby his mother. Perfection is what his mother strived for him to be, and failure was clearly out of the question.
By the end of middle school he was at the top of his class. On the side his mother had him learning 6 different languages, practicing gymnastics, dance, martial arts, soccer, football, tennis and much more. So when it when new of him being allowed to take the entrance exam for UA there was no surprise. On the day of the entrance exam his mother didn't wish him luck or give him a peptalk. Al she said was "Perfection".
Perfection that's all his mother cared about and the only think Katsuki would try to achieve even if would be the death of him
