Lucas Hudson:

"Are you hungry?" Louis asks after I've brought Lilly to bed. "I'm good, thanks." I answer grabbing myself a glass and filling it with water from the kitchen sink.

"What are you writing?" I nod at him typing something into his laptop. "Oh I'm just checking the security cameras." I walk over to him, tilting my head once I watch him watch some random man pointing a gun at another. "So this is normal to you?" I raise an eyebrow when he snorts, closing the cameras and shutting his laptop. "Sweetheart, I grew up with this." he chuckles.

"What exactly is your job here?" I lick my lips and he takes a deep breath, leaning back in his chair while spreading his legs and crossing his arms behind his head. "I'm an assassin. You know what that is, right? A murderer basically. One who kills by surprise attack." he grins and I nod, unsure of what else to do. "You're scared." he states and I sigh. "What do you want me to be? I don't even know if it's alright to trust you." I scoff, dragging a hand down my face and he chuckles.

"No I get it. I'm just surprised you aren't scared of Tigre." he shakes his head and I shrug. "She doesn't seem scary to me." I answer truthfully and he shakes his head, smiling in disbelieve. To be honest Louis doesn't seem that scary either. It just freaks me out how he can technically walk up behind me and slice my neck without me even noticing.

"Already came up with a name for her?" I shake my head, sucking in my bottom lip while thinking. I mean she looks like an angel and, if what she's saying is true, she is trying to save me. What about God? Yeah, no.

"How did you realize you wanted to be an assassin?" I lean against the table as he stretches in his chair. "I don't really know, I guess it's just what I was meant to do. Like I said, I grew up like this, being an assassin has always been fun." he shrugs. "Auntie always says he's the best assassin too." Lilly walks into the room, holding her tiger plushy, her eyes almost falling shut as she's that tired.

"Why aren't you sleeping Lilly?" Louis picks her up and she giggles once he starts placing kisses all over her face. "I want auntie V to read me a bedtime story." she pouts sitting in Louis' lap. Auntie V. That means her name starts with a V. Okay this is good, I like this. "Alright come on, let's go." he spins her in the air, darting to the door when she jumps to the floor and runs behind my legs, holding onto my pants. I smile, taking another sip of my water. "I will not chase you around the kitchen." Louis squints his eyes at her. "Yeah you will." Lilly and I both say at the same time and without breaking eye contact with Louis I high-five her as he stares at us with is mouth gaped open.

"You bitch." he whispers before running towards us, I step out of the way as Lilly runs around the table and I decide it's my cue to leave. "Bye guys!" I shout trying to voice over their screams. "Bye Luca!" they shout back at the same time and I can't help but laugh at that while walking up the stairs. Actually this isn't all too bad I guess. I just wish I could talk to my parents, I want them save and to know what's going on, they'd know what to do.
