Chapter 4

Bianca's POV

**Three months later**

Alexandra left the following day she told me she's a vampire.

" Bianca." My mom said knocking.

"Come in mom."

"Hey , honey,why are you still in bed?" She asked.

"I don't feel like going to school ,mom."

"Bianca,you have to go to school,this is your future we are talking about." She said sitting on the bed beside.

"Jennifer is here to pick you up,so wake up and get ready for school."

Since Alex left Jennifer has been there for me and we're getting along very well. After my mom left I woke up and took a shower,changed into clean clothes. I brushed my teeth and made my hair into a high ponytail.

"Hi Jenn." I sat taking my bag and an apple.

"Hey ,Bianca ,how are you feeling?" She asked .

"I'm okay ,now let's get going , before we get late."

Jenn and I still have just a few months before we graduate,that what makes me happy. Even though I feel empty without Alex.

'Alex ,please come back to me.' I said to myself every day.

When we were in the car I decided to ask one question I've been meaning to ask.

"Jenn,how do you know Alex?"

"Alex and my fiancee live in the same country and they are friends." She answered smiling.

"Why do you ask?"

"Just wanted to know."

"Okay ." She said sounding unconvinced.

When we arrived at school , for the first in a long time since Alex left ,I felt watched.

Since there were a lot of people in the hallway ,I nevermind that feeling.

During lunch as I sat on the same spot Alex and I used to seat at lunch,under an old tree,I felt eyes on me again, this time I even felt a presence behind me. I turned.

"Hi."

The guy who said that ,was tall mascular than usually most guys in school. He was wearing a red t-shirt,black jean and black boots. His brown hair styled. He was good looking,with green eyes with red rings around them. What does he want?

"What do you want?" I asked to avoid his sensitive eyes.

"I am assigned to protect you."

"Who assigned you and do I look like i need protection?"

"My king and I think you do." He smiled awkwardly.

Protect,and who is this king ,I hope he's just joking.

"What,this is a joke right?"

"He said any questions you have will be answered by him." He said with a straight face and unblinking eyes.

"Am I allowed to know your name then?"

"Damien Hamilton." He said staring down at me.

"Hi Damien." Jenn said as she joined us. "And Bianca." She continued.

"Jenn you know Damien?" I asked confused.

"Yeah , he's my mat-,I mean my boyfriend."

"Oh ,I see."

Jenn sat on Damien's lap. I felt so lonely,so confused! Everything is just too much to understand.

Who is this king,and what does he want want with me?
