Explain

Now I and my dad were walking on the beach. I was looking down at the sand not daring to make eye contact.

The walking was weird and awkward, none of us said anything.

"So how's Rachel?" He said scratching the back of his neck. "She's nice I guess."  But I still don't like her.

I just don't get why he would cheat on mom. Was he tired of her?  Didn't love her anymore?

"What about her daughter?"  I began to laugh. "Why are you laughing? I didn't say anything funny." I stopped, turn to see him, and crossed my arms.

"I and Beverly do not get along, we hate each other." I roll my eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady." He said annoyingly.

"Stop treating me like I'm a little kid! I'm old enough to do whatever I want! You left me and mom. You left without saying anything." Tears fell while I was shouting.

"Cass-" I stopped him.

"No, you didn't even say goodbye. You just left why on earth did you cheat on mom? When you cheated on mom Beverly kept saying rumors about my mom!" I couldn't even control my tears and my breathing.

"I had to stay at a friend's house for a couple of weeks. He kept me company and told me that everything is going to be alright. He knew what I was feeling. I didn't even want to school for 5 days. Until he told me I had to." I explained.

"You have no idea on how much pain you put me through." Looking in the corner of my eye I see Conrad.

He walked up to me and my dad. "I'm so sorry, I thought your mom didn't love me anymore. Cuz she wasn't showing me any love or caring." He said.

I scoff at him.

"That was because she was pregnant!" I left him. Looking up to see Conrad opening his arms I ran towards them.

Once I was in his arms he hugged me tightly. Not letting me go, I felt his hand going through my hair.

He knew I didn't want to talk so he kept hugging me.

Everyone went inside because it was raining really hard. Beverly tried to get Jeremiah's attention but he clearly didn't give a two fucks about her.

And I was laughing at how hard she tried. Conrad was already sleeping on my lap and I didn't really care. I saw Jeremiah coming to me and I smiled.

"Hey dumbass," I say playing. "Gosh, she is fucking annoying, Cass you have to help me! Please!" He said while shaking my head. I grabbed his hands so he could stop shaking me. 

"Fine, I'll help you. Under one condition." Crossing my hands telling him that I'm Serious. 

He stares at me waiting for it. "You have to help get your brother to teach me how to surf." Ever since I saw Conrad surfing I wanted to try it. But every time I tell him he says no and so does Jeremiah. 

They keep saying 'No, you'll get hurt and won't recover for years.' 'You can't, you'll die' Bruh then you'll be dead as well. 

"Fine," He said sitting down next to me and I smiled. "What did I get myself into" I hear him whisper. 

"Jeremiah!" I hear that ugly annoying ass bitch name.  Looking to my right I see Jeremiah leaning his head on the sofa. 

Before she had time to grab him I lean over to Jeremiah and bit and grabbed her arm. She stares at me with madness. 

"Uhh, what do you think you're doing?" I say rudely with a mean look. "Getting him." Her arm yanked away from my hands. 

"Look let me spell this out." moving Conrad away from me so I can stand up. "Jeremiah wants nothing from you. So leave him alone." Smiling at her. "Excuse me? You can't talk to me, I can make your life worse." She says pointing at Sleeping Conrad and Jeremiah.
