"How is that possible?" Slender asks. I shrug.

"I don't know." I answer honestly. "My dad could be anyone considering I've never met him. My mom slept around a lot so she probably didn't even know who he was."

"Damn, (Y/N). What am I going to do with you?" He asks. I shrug.

"You could give her to me. I could use another soilder." The king offers.

"Now is not the time, Keir." Slender growls.

"It's not that big of a deal, brother! So she's an angel, big deal! So is Judge Angels! What's the big whoop?" The god yells.

"Dina isn't a REAL angel! She just had a sword!"

"If she was here, you'd be dead!!"

"You know she can't kill me. No one can!"

"Did you forget that I can and have done it, Slenderman?!" The god yells. A silence falls on the room.

What? How powerful is the king?

"Thank you for that painful reminder, brother." Boss growls, grabbing my arm.

"Ow! Boss that hurts!"

"I don't care! Let's go!"

~

"It hurts so bad..." I whine quietly.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N)." EJ apologizes. I seethe, grabbing EJ's arm harshly. I quickly let it go.

"I'm sorry, reflex." I apologize. He shrugs. He continues to treat the large handprint bruise on my arm.

"Slender doesn't usually act like that. I wonder what set him off." EJ explains. I nod softly, casting a cold glare to the side.

"I found out that I'm not a nephelium today." I explain. EJ perks up.

"What are you then?" He asks. I smile softly.

"A real angel." I explain. EJ drops what he was holding. He gulps loudly.

"I think I understand why Slender was mad now."

"Why?!"

"He dated an angel once, almost married her. She was then murdered by an archangel because she was accused of treason." EJ explains. I gulp.

"That makes sense.." I mutter. EJ nods.

"He hasn't liked angels since then."

"Poor Slender. I must be such a problem for him." I mumble. EJ pats my back.

"Don't worry about it, buddy. We all have been problematic for Slender at one point or another." EJ explains with a tone of knowance. I nod, standing up. "Try to avoid messing with the bruise. It should heal quickly. Ben told me to tell you to meet him in the library."

"Thank you, EJ." I mutter, leaving the infirmary. I make my way down the hall to the library. I slam the doors open and Ben looks up at me.

He has a pair of thin glasses resting on his nose. He waves shortly before looking back at his papers. I take a seat across from him.

"So, from what Toby said over the phone, you are now working at a fifth grade level right?" Ben asks. I raise an eyebrow.

"Uhm, maybe?" I reply. Ben nods.

"Okay, what's 7×9?" Ben asks. I gulp.

"Uhm... 81?" I ask. Ben shakes his head.

"It's 63. Have you worked on times tables yet?" Ben asks. He holds up a grid of numbers. I shake my head.

"I have never seen that before." I reply. Ben sighs, pushing up his glasses.

"Toby said that he taught you this! What is the last thing you remember?" He asks. I ponder for a moment.

"Uhm, square roots of things. Like the square root of 64 is 8." I explain. Ben grabs his hair.

"Why are you doing that if you don't even know basic multiplication?" Ben questions, shuffling aggressively through a text book. He groans loudly.

"Okay, let's start with your times tables then."

"Okay!"

~

"(Y/N)!"

I shoot up, colliding with Ben's face. He groans, falling backwards. I quickly stand up and catch him. I pant heavily and he holds his nose.

"Ow..." Ben groans. I bring him back to his feet and hold a handkerchief to him. "Thank you.."

"You're welcome. I'm sorry for headbutting you." I apologize. He begins to laugh.

"It's alright. I always thought school was boring too!" Ben shouts. I giggle.

"(Y/N)!" Slender bellows through the halls. I flinch, turning around. Slender slams through the library door.

"Y-yes, boss?" I ask. He scowls.

"Let's go. I have to speak with you." Slender growls. I squeak, following his retreating form. I wave goodbye to Ben.

Slender walks me into his office, where all his brothers stand. As well as some strangers. He takes a seat at his desk. I take a seat across from him. The guests all stand behind him. I gulp at the tension in the air.

"This is a gathering of all the most powerful operators on this planet. Other than the one you put in a critical state." Slender explains. I nod shortly.

"Where is the king?" I ask. Boss scoffs.

"He had important buisness to attend to but the prince is here in his place." Boss explains, gesturing to Toby. He wears his crown and fancier clothes. He fixes his breastplate.

"Why am I here?" I ask. Boss's shoulders stiffen and he sits up a tad taller.

"You are here because you will soon be a new recruit of one of these lovely individuals." Boss explains. I scoff, crossing my arms.

"Let me guess, the highest bidder wins the prize?" I ask. Boss nods. "And why do I not get to decide?"

"Because your nothing but lowly scum, angel." A creature shrouded in black scowls.

"Then why would you pay so much?" I ask. The creature begins to laugh.

"An angel's blood can heal any injury. You fool." The creature replies.

There's no point in trying to fight. They are the strongest of the strongest. May as well watch my fate play out.

"Who would like to start us off?" Slender asks, standing. He faces the creatures.

"100,000." A lady clad in white robes mumbles. She has black hair and drinks from a red stained glass.

"200,000." Another calls out. He is clad in tan colored clothing with dark skin. He is tall and muscular.

"One million." Toby bids. My jaw drops. Slender holds his hand to Toby.

"Anyone else?" Slender asks. "Going once, going twice...? Sold.... to the king..."

Toby smugly leans against the wall. Slender slams me against the wall. I gulp as his tentacles encase my throat. I gasp, trying to breath.

"Hey, she's mine!" Toby yells. Out of reflex, a blast of light leaves my hand, making direct contact with Slender.

"Get out of my sight. Both of you. I never want to see you again!" Slender yells. Toby throws me over his shoulder and waves his hand. A black portal opens and I am thrown through it.

The last thing I remember was the gaping hole through Slender's body.
