She giggled and tears stung my eyes. My nose burned and my vision got blurry. With one blink, a drop of water fell onto her nose. She had his nose.

Stupid Caleb.

The day trudged on and before they knew it, dinner had been called. So every occupant of the house came and sat at the table excluding Ms. Adeline. She stayed in the kitchen as she always did to clean the dishes left over. She typically ate after everyone had already gone to sleep.

They pulled up a chair for Hunter to sit next to (Y/n) and enjoyed their nice, warm dinner. Until a knock at the door came.

Ms. Adeline walked over to answer it while everyone continued eating.

When she opened the door she saw the familiar grey masks of Coven Scouts. She knew why they were there.

"Oh! Hello, scouts!" She exclaimed loudly enough for Hunter and (Y/n) to hear. They stopped eating and ran behind a corner to hide. They hid by the stairs and listened from around the corner.

"Hello, Ms. Hartworm. Has (Y/n) (L/n) come around here lately?" One of the scouts asked.

"No, I haven't seen her since Lilith took her away."

"Well, she's recently gone missing and Emperor Belos has sent out a search party for her."

"Oh Titan! That's awful. She must be found immediately! I hope you find her soon."

"Mhm. Do you mind if we take a look around?" The captain asked, taking a step into the orphanage.

"Of course." Ms. Adeline opened the door wide enough for the six imperial troops to enter.

Ollie and his siblings hid in the living room.

"A lovely place you've got here, Ms. Hartworm." The captain said as he directed his scouts where to search.

"Thank you, I appreciate it."

The scouts searched the kitchen, in the cabinets and the cupboards but found nothing.

"Ms. Hartworm, how many children do you have here?"

"I have five."

They searched the dining room to find seven plates.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven." The captain counted the plates. "Let's say the sixth plate is your's. Who's the seventh plate for?"

"I have a friend coming over in a little bit. She's having dinner with us." Ms. Adeline lied.

"Then tell me this, Ms. Hartworm, why is her plate partially eaten?"

Ms. Adeline gasped, "Oh my, I didn't even notice that! One of the children took some food off of the plate! I know exactly which one that was. Emmett!"

"And where are your children?"

"Upstairs playing." Ms. Adeline pointed to the stairs unknowingly sending a scout over to where Hunter and (Y/n) were hiding.

The captain motioned for one of the scouts to investigate upstairs.

Shit.

"Hey." Hunter whispered, "You still know those cloaking spells? Well now would be a great time to use 'em."

"Emmett! You cretin! Did you eat Maralym's breakfast!?" Ms. Adeline shouted.

Emmett waddled down from the staircase "No." He smiled innocently before turning to the captain. "Hi." He greeted adorably.
