You and Hook

The hiatus is here, so I've decided to write some missing scenes from season 4, starting with one from 4x01. Because Mary Margaret knew somehow that something was going on between Emma and Hook, but we didn't see the converstation..

They were standing next to each other and doing the washing up. Emma was thinking about all the stuff that happened that day, and Mary Margaret didn't want to disturb her. David was with Neal, and Henry had already gone to bed.

It had been a crazy day. First, Emma's arguement with the others about leaving Storybrook, then travelling back in time and finally, bringing back Robin's wife wich ruined Regina's happy ending. She didn't know how to handle this issue, because she felt guilty. On the other hand, she had saved a life and reunited a family.

After a few minutes, Mary Margaret couldn't hold back the question she had really desired to take all night.

"So, what's going on between you and Hook?" She asked impatiently, smiling shyly to her daughter.

"Why do you think there is something going on at all?" Emma answered with another question, but she was just trying to gain some time.

"Well, it was quite obvious to me." She started to explain all the things she had seen that night. "You left Granny's, then came back half an hour later with Hook."

Emma's eyes widened. Was it really half an hour? It definitely felt less. Half an hour kissing with the local pirate sounded bizarre. But she didn't want to deny it, mainly because sooner or later, she would have had to talk about it.

"Yeah, but I still don't understand why it is obvious." She murmured, and continued washing up the dishes.

"You were quite close to each other. Closer than before. You smiled at each other, sometimes touched each other. This kinds of things hadn't happened before." Mary Margaret answered. She was quite an observant.

"Okay." Emma sighed giving up. "We kissed."

"I knew it!" She grinned victoriously, and she couldn't hide her excitement.

"Whoa! You look happy."

"I am, it was about time for you to accept your feelings."

"I had no feelings!" Emma exclaimed, almost dropping the plate she washed.

"But you have now...?"

This was the question even Emma couldn't answer. She clearly felt something, that kiss wasn't a simple thank you. She forgot everything around her, not caring about the fact that anyone could easily see them. But honestly, that kiss was damn good.

"Let's just finish the dishes, okay?"
