*Hank's POV*
Thursday November 11, 2038

I shake from the freezing cold Detroit air that flowed under my jacket, slightly stressed.. waiting.. Why am I here? He is free now; I witnessed him singlehandedly in the Cyberlife tower give all those androids life and begun the endings of the revolution! What would he come back to an alcoholic bore like me for?' He pondered crossing his arms, about ready to give in to his obsessively hateful thoughts towards himself and head home to another bottle calling his name until he hears the soft crunching of the snow behind him..
*Connor's POV*
I quickly made my way towards the Lieutenant, I knew exactly where he would be.. at least I think I do. I guess more so hoped he would be, but what if not? I know I saw him at the tower. He said I was alive. It made me feel things I hadn't yet discovered but there was no time for that then, but now... No no Connor! Shake your mind of this, he's only now began to like you these past few weeks, don't screw it up now. His thirium pump quickened in pace as he neared the Chicken Feed. The place he began to truly get to talk to Hank, who actually showed some kindness. In his own snarky way you'd say but kindness nonetheless. Something that Connor loved about Hank so much.. *sighs softly* I didn't realize how much that meant to me then, he smiled to himself reminiscing over his banter with Lieutenant Anderson and his wink he'd given him. I didn't really know why I'd done that it just felt.. right. <BUT WE KNOW WHY CONNOR :3 > He was quickly snapped out of his thoughts when he saw him. He looked warm.. Connor wanted to be near him more but found himself stopping a couple feet away from his Lieutenant, making sure to not invade his space. To his surprise and excitement nonetheless Hank smiled softly at him. If I had a heart I'm sure it would be fluttering right now! He exclaimed in his thoughts as he smiles back kindly.. <lovingly one might say (aka me) if he knew what that looked like>

Hank knows this is the time. He is so happy to see Connor come back to him even if he refuses to admit it; though he finds himself smiling to the android and that smile Connor returned made his heart skip beats! *imagining Hank just melting over Connor's smile in his mind* He opened his arms moving forward towards the android..
Connor felt his thirium pump only he can explain the feeling as some sort of jolt as he saw the Lieutenant near him. He wanted to move but he was stuck; he felt scared to move even with the open invitation for what felt like to be a hug that he wanted so much more than he realizes at the time. But all of that melts away as he feels Lieutenant Anderson pull him into his arms. Hank's hand stretching around the back of Connor's neck softly and moving quickly to the back of his head; laying it down on his shoulder, now wrapping his arms around the android and holding him close. The embrace was so pleasant and warm, Connor found himself squeezing back in this connection with his friend. He didn't want it to end. He even felt like maybe.. he wanted more? No- stop Connor! He quickly moves on from that thought knowing he doesn't know what he even means, and realizes he may have extended the hug too long as he feels Hank trying to shift his way from the hug as Connor continues to hold onto him like life depended on it. Hank chuckles gripping Connor's shoulders softly as he felt the android's grip now weaken and pulled him back to look at him. Him and those big soft brown orbs he possessed. Hank knew they were plastic pieces, just parts of machinery but they held something beautiful inside.. a human, a soul. Hank couldn't believe he saw him any other way... He slowly lets go and lets his arms down around his side. "Lieu- Con!" they both exclaimed simultaneously, laughing slightly trying to let the other speak first. Connor sighs regaining his composure to speak and continues; "Lieutenant-" "Hank." He grumbles. "Huh?" Connor tilts his head slightly. "Come on Con, we just hugged. You know me well enough, I don't do hugs." He states sheepishly. "You can call me Hank outside of work." Connor smiles, "Okay Hank.. I just wanted to tell you that- I mean I just wanted to thank you. For everything.. Without you I wouldn't have even came close to truly understanding deviancy; mine especially and I wouldn't have an opportunity of any sort to have life. Life with you," he felt embarrassed at that thought but quickly followed up.. "and Sumo! And the police department and Markus and everyone I've met along this short lifespan. I'm rambling but I just wanted you to know because of you I finally am alive and I couldn't thank you enough for that." Hank feels his heart gush at the sentimental words spewing from Connor's lips. He's taken aback a bit from his own words and stares, softly blushing hoping the android hasn't discovered what that quite means. He must have been silent for too long before he hears a "Lieuten- Hank?" Connor corrects as he watches Hank blink back to reality looking at Connor's slight worried expression. <OF COURSE HE'S WORRIED HE'S NEW TO THIS AND YOU WENT SILENT AFTER HE POURED HIS 'HEART' OUT buttt it's okay cause flustered Hank is cute Hank> He chuckles slightly causing Connor's head to tilt again. Damn he's cute, Hank thought before shaking that thought away as quickly as it came and pushed forward to what he really wanted to say. "Con.." he sighs deeply; "before you life- life was just a mess. A big blurry alcoholic sad mess and I just waited every day because I knew there would never be any reason to live again; I was determined there would never be another reason!" He slightly shows his expression raising his tone before lowering his head slightly. "I'd just given up but I couldn't find it in myself to man up and finally pull the goddamned trigger." His words laced with no patience and slight irritation as he tried to express how he felt. "Something was determined to keep me here and I honestly could never tell if it was a blessing or a curse. As you can assume, I mostly took it as a curse.. drinking away the pain, playing Russian roulette, you saw the drill and just killing myself.. slowly everyday." he stated somewhat ashamed and quieter than the rest of his words, quicker too almost as if he was pushing them through his mouth, but Connor listened closely to every single word and breath Hank made, he wanted to hear everything. He tuned in very closely until he knew it was over; trying not to show hurt by Hank's words regarding himself. Hank recouped his thoughts and composed himself taking a breath. It was getting really cold and he knew he hadn't been out there that long but this felt like forever. Maybe because he wasn't used to all of this. "..Life wasn't worth anything anymore to me until I met you." Connor blinks quickly at his words, his led shifting from yellow as he was processing and comprehending everything the Lieutenant was saying to a soft blue as he smiled ever so slightly. His cheeks turning a dark blue as he felt his temperature levels raise in his facial structures. He didn't know why this was happening but chose to ignore the temperature warnings flashing in his vision. Hank continued though despite noticing; trying to ignore how adorable the android looked and figured he must be cold. Even though he knew androids don't get cold, he needed an excuse at the time. He knew his first thought couldn't be correct. Hank beamed at Connor, "You made me feel alive again; you gave me a purpose to live and I couldn't be more grateful for you in my life Connor!" Those words.. They made Connor feel weird but not a bad weird.. a good weird yet it felt wrong as his vision began to blur slightly. Trickles of little soft white specks filled his eyes as he tried to blink them away only to feel something wet drip down his cheeks. He was crying, and smiling and Hank didn't understand if he'd said something wrong. He's never seen Connor cry before. "AH SHIT CON! I didn't mean to make you cry!" He states quickly trying to console the weeping android but Connor only smiles as he tries to talk through the tears. "N-no no Lieutenant you did nothing wrong, these w-water droplets seem to indicate a very strong emotion." he chuckles behind tears. "I am feeling this in a good way. Your words, meant a lot to me Hank.. t-thank you." I'm stuttering.. I didn't know I was capable, I must run a diagnostic later. "You're good Con, I'm glad you're feeling and I'll be here with you through them all." Hank reassured.
It's silent for a moment but Hank's tired of the cold, he's ready to go home.. with him.

*Hank's POV*
"So.. what now?" He pondered how to go about this conversation waiting anxiously for Connor to respond.
"I'm not sure, for once in my life I have no mission, no program telling me what I should do." It feels empty in a way. he thought to himself, not to worry Hank with something so unimportant.
"It's called having a choice Con." He teased following up with, "Do you have.. anywhere to go?" He felt his face flush with red. He knew where he wanted this to go.
Connor tilted his head, his led flashing yellow. "I technically do yes, I have a pod I used to stay in back at the Cyberlife tower where I was stored before activation, but I'm positive with the recent revolution and some damages done to the stores they would not be feasible. I would stay with Markus and the others at Jericho, the new one that is but I am still working off my "deviant hunter" status there; I wouldn't want to cause any uncomfortable feelings amongst the other androids residing there. Though no need to worry Lieutenant! I do not need living assistance as I'm an android, I don't require a home like humans do."
Hank paused for a moment, fear engulfing his throat and wrapping around his words as he tried to force his question out. His freezing hands and nose being his ultimate push as he exhaled softly. "Fuck-" Connor looks up but before he can question Hank asks shaking his head, "Would you like to live with me Con? I very well can't have my android homeless, even if you don't need it." He looks away not wanting to face Connor's soft puppy dog eyes at this moment. He felt embarrassed to have even asked and more so feared the rejection possible to come and another part of him worried he was talking advantage of Connor. I mean did I seriously just call him my android?! I don't own him, I didn't mean it like that.. He had just gained freedom, now I'm asking him to stay in my home with me?! A home that probably reeks of depression and pity, nowhere I'd want Connor to feel like he's stuck in. <HANK STOP BEING SO MEAN TO YOURSELF, YOUR HOME IS SO LOVELY I WANNA VISIT :(( >
'His android' Connor flustered knowing Hank had probably slipped his words and that they didn't truly mean what he was hoping. Without a second thought he beamed trying to contain his hopefulness and excitement all in one with a awkward smile "I'd love to, Hank."
