You've been walking for a long time now. Your legs are tiring out. It's not gonna be long until you pass out from exhaustion. You decide to stop by a water well.
CHAR: Tired? That fast?! RHT: Don't forget, I'm the one walking. CHAR: And I have to follow your slow walking ass. RHT: Whatever. How long has it been? CHAR: Two days. RHT: At this pace, we're gonna arrive to a fully armed town, and frankly, that isn't the best. CHAR: I think today they're celebrating something in the burg. I don't what exactly but it's something important to the knight. Anyway, it's getting dark, we should probably find some shelter. RHT: That cave looks nice. We'll be staying in there for the night, unless you've got a better idea. CHAR: Nope, the cave is good enough. RHT: Alright, let's move.
You and Charoline go inside the cave and put down your things. You decide to rest on the cave floor while Charoline decides to check the cave a little more.
RHT: Try not to get lost! CHAR: I'm older than you! Learn how to respect your elders! Also I'm a spirit, I can't get lost. RHT: Yeah yeah, that's the last I'm gonna hear of you. CHAR: *sigh* See ya later!
While Charoline ventures into the cave, you slowly start to fall asleep. Finally some well deserved rest. Meanwhile, in the burg of Perseverance, the folks are having the time of their lives. The knight is partying along as a normal person.
PSV: This sure is fun! CPR: Told you! All the time you stay inside your castle and never see how fun the outside world! PSV: I should've listened to you earlier! CPR: You should always listen your right hand man! PSV: You mean your husband? It's been long enough now, so try and refer to me as your wife. CPR: Of course I will, come here! *KISS*
The burg is full of joy and happiness, celebrating the wedding of their Perseverant Knight. While dancing, Copper gets pulled outside of the crowd. His childhood friend wants to tell him something.
HGO: Look Copper. CPR: Hugo! Why don't you come and join the fun! HGO: This is serious business, follow me. CPR: Alrighty then!
Copper follows hugo to a nearby bar. Hugo signals the people inside to leave. After the bar empties, they both sit near the counter. Hugos expression is dead serious.
HGO: I have some bad news. CPR: How bad can it be. *chuckle* HGO: The Kind Knight has... CPR: Been killed. I know. HGO: Then why are you so calm about it? CPR: We're celebrating our wedding! Imagine what Shane would do if she knew that! HGO: I'm sorry I didn't think that far. CPR: Good. Now come party!
The two leave and go party. The bar goes suspiciously quiet. One person remained in the bar.
???: That sure is bad news. Wonder how she'll react when she hears this. Uhh, what am I even rambling about? I should get up and go home, paps is probably worried about me by now, but man it sure is refreshing tasting some new beverage aside from grillbys. BAR: Hey sir, are you going to leave or do you want some more ketchup? ???: Nah it enough, here's the pay. Have a good night. BAR: Don't you want anything to take with you, it's along way to the Centre! ???: Nah, it's fine. After all...
