The Guuji Yae was in an interview with the top News house of Inazuma.
Everyone wanted to know what was up with the Shrine maiden.
The reporter asked the Kitsune about her life before and after the Narukami shrine
After a bunch of random questions, Guuji Yae was caught off guard.
"Now, you've been alive for quite some time, even though you've only ever answered positively when I asked you about your past, what part of your life that you wished never happened?"
Miko paused, she thought of what to say. Her facial expressions sent the reporter to reassure her that she didn't need to answer the question.
"No, it's fine." Miko paused.
"I've honestly only ever had one point in my life where I wished I wasn't alive. But I'm honestly glad it happened to me"
"How so?" The reporter asked, shocked by Miko's response.
"Well, it was a hard time for everyone back then. Inazuma thought that they had lost their precious archon, monsters roamed the cities, and I lost my one and only mentor." The Kitsune paused.
"But despite all the sorrow that surrounded me, I would love to relive those moments again."
"If I had chosen to give up at that time, I never would've met her, and Inazuma wouldn't be as beautiful as it is today."
The reporter was intrigued by Guuji's response.
"Meeting her was the reason why I kept going." Miko added.
The reporter got the biggest scoop of the day and thanked Yae Miko for her time.
A few weeks later a newspaper arrived at the doorstep of the Raiden Shogun.
Ei left her plane of eutheymia to take a look. It was a newspaper with all the details about the Grand Narukami shrine's very own Kitsune shrine maiden.
Ei was pleased to see Miko's face on the cover.
After reading through, she finally got to that section of the interview.
She let out a small chuckle and said "I'm grateful that I gave you that feeling as well Kitsune."
