After packing my things, I put them in the trunk and started the car.

After an eight-hour journey, we finally arrived.

A sign reads "Welcome to Timorville", I enter the town and see many people greeting me, a very warm atmosphere all around me, lots of people smiling, laughing, helping each other, and everything else imaginable.

My very first thought was one of perfection: is this the right city? Am I in the wrong place?

The red light appears, I stop the car, roll down the window to smell the fresh air. Suddenly, a man appears in front of me, I jump out, roll up the window, but he blocks it with his hands.

- Watch out! If you don't get out of here, you'll be cursed forever!

I push his hands away and roll up the window, the green light appears, I speed up and get away from this madman. I laugh and remark that she's not perfect after all.

Arriving at his destination, Maël gets out of the car and heads for his new home. Before entering the house, a woman in her forties approaches them. The woman smiles at him.

- You're the new neighbor. Welcome to Timorville, I'm your neighbor, my name is Rose and I live just across the street from your house.

She holds out her hand, and Maël smiles and shakes her hand.

- Thank you, I'm Maël, nice to meet you.

- If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate, my house is just across the street, you're welcome...

Rose stops her monologue when Maël's sister appears in her field of vision. The neighbor finally notices her, frowns and observes her, the atmosphere becoming strange.

- Hello, I'm Hela, Maël's older sister.

Hela holds out her hand, and Rose observes her for a moment before shaking her hand with a smile and a shake of the head.

- You're welcome, don't hesitate.

Hela gives her an overwhelming smile that gives Rose goose bumps and she leaves in a hurry. Maël watches his sister.

- Are you going to show yourself now?

His sister nods, then they both head for home. The boxes he sent a week ago are already there, but empty. He glances at the house, which is far from empty; all the furniture has been installed. He finds it strange, he's never hired someone to clear out his stuff. Tired of understanding the situation, he lies down on the sofa to rest, eventually falling asleep.

The next day, Maël was in a supermarket doing a little shopping when he spotted his dear neighbor again.

- Oh new boy, have you come to do your shopping?

He nods yes, and the next thing he knows, a young woman appears in front of them.

- Mom, have you finished?

The neighbor pulls her arm and nods in Maël's direction.

- Darling, why don't you say hello to our new neighbor?

The young woman turns and looks at Garcia.

- So you're the new guy

- I'm Maël

- Allison

She examines him from head to toe.

- You know, I used to bandage you when you were older, but you're young!
