Lily's POV  🌺

I feel Yoongi's soft lips on the back of my neck, inducing both a chill up my spine and a smile across my face as I pour hot water from the kettle into my travel mug. He wraps his hands gently around my waist as I place a tea bag into the water and secure the string with the lid of my mug.

"I can't believe you love cheap tea and let it steep for far too long. What kind of woman am I engaged to?" he murmurs, and I can't help but giggle at his devilish tone. This man loves to tease me.

"The kind of woman that saves us a ton of money by drinking cheap tea and doesn't complain when your dog decides to take up our entire bed," I jest as I lean back and peck him on the cheek.

"Have a good day today; good luck with the search for a lessee," he chuckles as he turns me around and places a soft kiss on my lips. "Love you."

"Love you too, see you tonight."

Holly, Yoongi's beloved pup, pads between our legs, trying to get attention, and I chuckle. "I'll see you tonight also, little spoiled baby," I chuckle and pet his curly coat as he wags his tail.

My company, Rogue Records, has seen quite a bit of growth in the last year. Initially, I was saving to buy a house of my own, but my fiance, Yoongi, asked me to move into his home, and I happily obliged.

He offered to sell his house and find a new one with me so we could build our lives together, but I realized quickly that it isn't the physical space that makes me feel like I'm home; it's truly Yoongi's heart that has made me feel at home. So for me, it was fine to move into his existing residence. It wasn't long before his space became "our" space as our lives intertwined.

The only being that really needed time to adjust was Holly, who liked to wedge himself between us on the bed quite often. I'm not sure how such a small dog can feel like he's taking up the space of a full-grown adult, but I can't help but chuckle on the nights I come home late from my studio and find the two fast asleep together. It may be one of the most adorable things I've ever witnessed.

With the cost of a home vanishing from my life plan, and even with donating the entirety of the proceeds from my last album to charity, I had a chunk of money saved for an investment. So, when the building my company was leasing was put up for sale, my business partner (and the person I consider my brother), Ha-Kun, decided to buy it.

Ha-Kun and I determined a long time ago that we wanted to build Rogue Records slowly and have intentionally kept our operation small. Ha-Kun runs the business side of our company, and I, along with two other producers, make hits for some of the biggest K-PoP Idols in the business. When an artist or group feels like they need some outside help to change their sound or to help fuel the creativity behind a new comeback, they come to my team. We used to be one of the best-kept secrets in the business, but now we are well known.
