Author Notes (Important, Please Read)

yo! author here! just a few little notes about this book :)

•this is heavily inspired by the book American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis !!

•it will be written in the style of American Psycho

•also, i am *not* romanticising serial killers or psychopaths, i just thought it would be fun to write an au where Wilbur is one, i also don't believe in the 'I can change him' mindset, so please please do not go out and insist you can 'change' serial killers, thank u

•this is set in the 80s!!

•the whole story is from Wilbur's perspective- he's not described generally (except what he's wearing) so for the record he wears nonprescription glasses (which, incidentally, have no lenses) and has slicked-back brown hair with a single streak in. Wilbur has tried to get rid of it- to no avail- so he's just accepted it at this point

•Wilbur is twenty-seven, but turns 28 sometime in September :)

•there will be sex mentions!! no explicit sex scenes but there definitely will be some parts where someone describes what *happens*

•this is not appropriate for readers under 13 !!
gore, smut references, dick jokes, gay jokes, (perhaps) even slurs, will be in this book, so please please do not interact with this book if you are not over 13 !! this will have a lot of sex references/jokes and casual homophobia (sucks, but it's the 80s, what did you expect) so please don't read :)

•this is no reflection on the actual ccs or even the c!s!! these characters are massive douches, not because the people they're based on are, but because the characters are supposed to be. please don't think any of the ccs I base these characters on have the same views as the characters I write them as in this!!

•the chapters will be named oddly, but I promise you they make sense!! the first one is called 'Harry's' because the scene is set in a place called Harry's, so I promise you they will make sense !
