POV: 1st Person
As I was walking through the mall I bumped into someone, "Sorry," As I apologized.
"Lucy? Is that you?" He said.
"Nate?" I said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Shopping, of course," He replied.
"Oh-" as I laughed at my stupidity.
"Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm Mollie.
"She's beautiful, she looks kind." I told him.
"Yeah, she's one of a kind." Nate said.
"Well I hope you're happy." I said.
"Actually.... I'm planning on marrying her soon," He told me.
"Oh- oh wow," As I was surprised.
"yeah..." He said softly.
"Well I am....happ- happy for you." As said sadly.
"Thank you...." Nate said as I walked off.
