Daemon (Part 3)

"Where were you this morning, my mom was looking for you to get you ready for school?" He rubs his neck, "I went to the office, apparently I have the same mission as you." Frowning I say, "I thought it was for me." Luke shrugs, "Hey I bet your mom told you that I was working the same one, so don't get angry, Babe."

He smiles, "Anyways she is very stunning."

"Don't you even think about it." He smiles and acts hurt, "What, I was just saying she is gorgeous. Plus we have to act like best friends, remember you wanted to act like that." I shake my head at Luke. "Well we need to get you inside."

Luke frowns, "Okay, Okay." Luke rubs his head and walks in back of me. We get inside and we run into the principle, "Oh hello Daemon again, and you must be his friend, Luke." Luke smiles and bows, "Yes I am." Mr. Ashford says, "I can tell you look like Queen Venus." Mr. Ashford looks at us and smiles. He turns to me, "Miss Nova just left." I nod and he sighs.

I might as well ask about my concern, "Why hasn't nobody told her?" Luke looks at me and says, "Wait she doesn't know" I shake my head and Luke sighs, "This is going to be even harder, huh." Mr. Ashford looks around and says, "Follow me." Me and Luke look at each other and follow him. He takes us to his office. We nod to the front office assistant and I see Rose talking to the vice principal. She looks at me and smiles and also sees Luke which makes her even happier. Luke leans to me, "She is into you, Lover Boy." I looked at him and said, "She is bad news and stop reading people's minds." Luke smirks and winks at me, "Whatever you say Babe."

Rolling my eyes, I walk in front of him toward the offices. Luke smirks and whispers, "If you ever go with her I can break up with you and I can have Dawn." My eyes turned white and he nervously laughed, "I am just kidding, Babe....maybe."

"I swear-"

Mr. Ashford clears his throat and I cut off my sentence. "Come in, so I can explain everything." We go inside and sit in front of the desk, ready for an explanation. He sighs and says, "Dawn can't know right now because of what she can be capable of. It may be a dangerous decision."

Luke groans, "And you think not telling her is the right thing. That is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard." I give Luke a look, "What Luke means is that she needs to know who is actually is. She is gonna find out today, it would be even worse if she just find out just out of know where."

Mr. Ashford sighs rubbing his pointed ears, "I completely understand that, but it was orders from the alien government." Luke shakes his head in frustration and gets up, walking towards the door. I sigh and look at the principle with a sorry look. He nods, completely understanding the situation.

Luke and I leave the office and I grab his wrist, "What the hell was that for?" Luke pulls aways, "This shit doesn't make sense, she needs to know about these things but yet she doesn't. What the hell are we suppose to do now." Looking at him, I caress his face so he can calm down. His eyes changes pink and he takes a deep breath. I finally say, "Look I am upset too, but it is nothing we can do. We just need to make sure she is okay and be by her side. Okay?" He nods as he rubs his nose to calm his nerves.

I look at my phone to see the time. I get Luke's back pack and say, "Okay let's go to our last class, Babe." Luke smiles at me calling him babe and he nods. Before we walk I ask, "How would you feel if we had a third person in the relationship?" He shrugs, "It depends who it is, why you ask." I smile a little, "You will see why."

He chuckles and ties his hair back, showing his dove tattoo, "Well then let's get to class, Lover Boy."
